The system they arrived to was modest. Unlike the periphery of other spacefaring civilizations, the MISE ones seemed to be be well looked after. The IPD system that governed most decision-making didn't want to spare the capable efficiency of the planets located across the rim.
However, even the omnipresent Musavian systems couldn't be perfect, losses flourished where the unpredictable met the paradigmn, attritions, be them environmental of sociological, flourished nonetheless, much to the dismay of this quaint system at the edge of MISE space.
A few applications of asteroid belt mining could be seen in an inner asteroid ring produced by the action of gravitational influences within, some less at the outer asteroids. They ferried materials to and fro from about 5 industrial setups positioned either in orbit of the system's only inhabited planet, or above the gas giant within the system. Accompanying the industry was three stations equipped with skyhooks, they couldn't spare the expense of a space elevator, and a system of skyhooks and scheduled drop pods was the next best thing, sometimes even better than the aforementioned megastructure.
The edge systems were pleasant, one could conduct their whole life without seeing the wonders of capital and still die happy nonetheless. However, the attritions and distance allowed for the more subversive operations to flourish, the best location within the MISE for products and services that the Space Effort or the Megacorporations forbid.
The SYS-DEF were omnipresent even at this distance, a few ships parked across the asteroid belts, hidden behind moons or scouting the major infrastructure lines always proved to demotivate pirates enough to save them the hassle of minute skirmishes. Starting a battle here would not be wise with the contingents pleasant, and who knows what else the MISE has on their sleeve for when such situations get out of hand?
Unseen Legend, you are free to taxi to A-3, land on designated bay. VTOL only.
One of the stations replied to the transmission. The A-3 area was located in the center of a dense jungle, a pleasant biome for the lizardmen, if only for them. Surrounding the landing spot were different warehouses, mechanics shops, and even a single GL&M shop. The city's center was located off to the side, and like many Musavian civilizations they lived in large concrete blocks and towers that, despite the distance to Capital, were impressive anyways. Seemingly, the lizardmen had a natural calling in construction.
Security within the landing pad wasn't that great, a few odd guards here and there that'd look the other way for things they didn't want to be bothered with.
