i had 2 tiny parts mods installed so deleted it from the files but then i went into the mods menu and it was still there!

Also if it says its not compatible(unless its a dead mod) that usually means that it's just not labeled as 15.14 in the mod.txt thaz all
Ok. Delete all of this mod from you mod folder.
Next, download the mod
Extract the mod, not via the in game downloader,
When it is done take the folder that lies within the folder that extracted and put that folder in your mods folder
