Gray the front looks a bit to short to look like a venator and the dips are to deep in the back to look like a venator. but you are right it looks a bit like a venator try and make it a bit more round as well.

Tip: you can use the 4 slope segment armor pieces to make a 4x1 slope

Gray yes it seems quite hard to paint considering its all curves.
Gray somehow the pointed parts in the back of the cutter don't appear.
Gray you should complete the ship and make it bigger as well but the shape is perfect!
