Arguably the longest stretch of trade in the Galaxy, this route is by far one of the quickest, and dangerous in the universe.
Stations
Though the route is the quickest and the most straight-forward approach to many systems, the number, and quality of stations is lacking, consisting of small, lightly armed, and lightly shielded stations. The route, originally guarded early on in the Redford Republic's history, is rather prone to pirate raids and traps. The skeleton crew of a rather modern Naval Defense only consists of a Singular Battleship, a couple of cruisers, 6 flak destroyers, and 2 patrol boats. While this does sound like a decent fleet compliment against pirates, the overall lack of spacecraft and the vast size of this route makes it nigh-impossible for patrols to catch anything besides the random asteroid.
Current Affairs
While it was stated that the Redford Republic defended this route, the large quantities of invasions and expansions (as well as them sinking resources into more prominent matters concerning themselves) has forced them to turn a blind eye. This means a swift takeover could result in a very lucrative opportunity in a stranglehold of thie route.
Roleplay Rules
If you enter this "event", here are a couple of rules:
- You must know that even if you destroy the redford fleet, other Rpers (or factions) can try to remove you from the route aswell. This also includes Redford (If they find out you destroyed their fleet).
