Dumb Every one of the Georgia crew had some engineering background it seemed... as Harley had no problem unsoldering and resoldering parts from dead electronic circuits to form parts for a control system. It was impressive, really, a few like minded people found each other and began working with a common goal, as well as survive the harsh depths of space.
Dasha was surprised to see Harley leave part way through his work, as he exited the ship for a short while. She could feintly hear some grinding and machining from deep inside the ship... before reminding herself that the crew here had to rely on their own machining skills to make parts. They did not have stellar forges, printing equipment, nano assemblers. They had their hands, their tools, and their heads.
Before long, Harley returned with Trevor carrying some cut sheet metal. The moment Trevor saw Dasha, he immediately dumped his load and powerwalked in the opposite direction.
Harley, a little cross with Trevor's departure, got to work assembling a standard control terminal using the metal parts and circuits he had prepared, carefully welding it together, running the bundle of cables into the supplied cube. It wasn't the finest work, but it certainly would get the job done.
Flipping his welding helmet up, Harley took a moment to admire his work.
