HMS-Hood Edward would curse loudly as the piece of cable snapped off D'oro's craft as he broke off from the station...
The remaining crew of Georgia sat in solemn silence in the bridge... systems dead... the D cell battery had died leaving the room in darkness besides the light of the stars outside. The space heater had given it's last bit of charge... the air canister was running low. Ice began forming on the edges of the windows as the crew began to accept the fact they didn't have much longer to live...
The silence was deafening...
Then, like a beacon in the darkest of nights... a loud beep wailed out from the room. A single, short sharp beep. It was the loudest beep... but that beep was a sign of hope.
As that beep chimed out it began conducting a orchestra of clicks, flicks and wirrs. Monitors blinked on, lights hummed to life, computers chattered.
The crew stood there... eyes wide. Surprised... shocked. Did they pull it off?
"Power?"
"Power."
"Power!"
Jack rushed to the radar console... slapping the side of it to get the device to begin behaving. A wry smile broke on his face.
"Haha! He did it! The fucking kid did it!"
Then his emotion turned to confusion.
"He's breaking off... where's he going?"
Grabbing for the radio, Jack starts shouting over comms for D'oro's response.
"Kid? Kid what's up?"
Then as D'oro's stealth systems went online... Jack's face went white.
"Kid? KID!! FUCK HE'S GONE!"
"Gone?"
"Gone! What happened? Did some debris hit him?!"

Between the combat and squabbling of the various factions gathered there... unseen to most ships, a small craft floated around the outside of the small station. Lasting for a few minutes... the craft hung there... then the Station's solar panels slowly rotated. Gently seeking the warm sunlight...
Then lights flickered on. Guidance lights came online, and ship systems shifted and began responding to the station's telemetry. Georgia was alive!
