There was a couple FTL signatures, before a few odd looking asteroids came out of FTL. They had some rigged up engines on the back.

After they exited FTL, They were on full throttle.

killercat625 The scavenging vessel heats up it's weapons upon seeing the new arrival... they didn't want anyone taking what was theirs. They attempt to hail.

"Hey!! You guys!! Fuck off this is our scrap!!"

The other crew members shove the trigger happy crew member into the path of the sorrow and dash for an exit... knowing full well they won't last long...

Hearing the cries and screams of the sorrow and the lost crew member... the crew panic... now scattered around the ship without any idea of where the others are.

As they scatter, all can hear the muffled screaming of the Sorrow and the crew member, and the pounding of the Sorrow as it continually hits the crew member, slowly turning him into a pulp. This panics the crew more, and they start running aimlessly, making a lot of noise. Miraculously, they all run into each other in a 4-way corridor. They start to calm down...
(you can continue exploring the place or do something that I cant think of)

The ships did not seem to get the communications, or attempt to send any back. They just hurtled themselves at the scavengers, with no signs of stopping until they hit something.

killercat625 Roll for evasion (+5 "Lightning" class ship) 1d20+5 = 25, NAT 20!!

The ship, seeing it's oppressors fail to respond, cleanly flanks to the side and returns fire, squarely hitting the targets! It's tractor beam locks onto one of the bogies!

One of the partially blasted ships is grabbed, as the other two just barrel through space still, major damage to the outside layers, and the engines were damaged. The two ships that werent grabbed just flew towards the hunks of scrap and steel.

killercat625 The scavenging vessel runs a scan of the captured vessel to find an origin, weapons locked dead onto it

The scans revealed traces of biological life making up parts of the hull, it looked like a mix of an asteroid and scrap metal, held together by some steel-like biological matter. The things engines flickered a bit, the main thruster being damaged, and the secondary one had been torn off by enemy fire.

killercat625 Seeing no crew on board... the scavenging ship had no problem blasting the vessel to bits in return for it's scrap components.

There were several odd, humanoid bodies drifting through space, some clinging to the wreckage. It seems they had been missed by the scan due to them being of a similar composition to the parts holding the hull together. A couple of them were flung off into the void.
