Zin01 The scavenger crew felt uneasy... they all wanted a piece of the loot the ship held... but none wanted to explore it. They drew straws, and a team of 5 unlucky scavengers are kicked out of the vessel to explore her.
Each scavenger is equipped with a SWAT-I hardsuit, and a MK-I laser rifle. (A "hardsuit" is any form of EVA equipment which includes additional protection to the specific environment. Namely, the SWAT-I hardsuit is bullet proof, laser resistant and moderately melee resistant. Not that it helps by a significant factor). The technology is archaic, but easy to maintain and practical. They gently touch down at an opening in the hull, and switch their gunlights on.
Meanwhile, the crew still aboard the salvage vessel switch on a suit-sensor monitor, letting them see the approximate location of their crew and their vital signs. They begin directing the crew deeper into the ship.
