Swarm drones are small ships that cannot operate themselves without a ship with AI Module or Drone Controller nearby. Usually, these drones are used for both quick defense or offense but they can also be used as a small battle or capturing the sector quickly.
My swarm drones are divided into different roles:
- Scout Drone: Mostly unarmed.
- Radar Drone: Extends the range of sight on the battlefield. Most of them don't have thrusters.
- Attack Drone: Used for quick combat against enemies or small escorts.
- Battle Drone: Has better weapons than attack drone, which is used as a standard battle.
- Sentry Drone: Like attack drone but doesn't have any thruster. Can mount any unmanned turret.
- Repair Drone: Has a Repair Orb to repair damaged ship.
- Support Drone: Has a special ability.
And here are my latest creations of tiny drones. Every faction has a different term to call their swarm drones.
Servants of Plas Mar: Wisp
Wisps are the most inferior servants of Plas Mar. Usually, they are born from stardusts or their reincarnated soul of His faithful believers. They guard around the stars and planets in the galaxies and punish the evil they seek.
Flare Wisp [Scout Drone]
The new version of CCQF Flare Wisp.
Healer Wisp [Repair Drone]
Scout Wisp [Scout/Radar Drone]
Has the most radar range of all radar drones.
Attack Wisp [Attack Drone]
The cheapest and the weakest attack drone.
Fallen Wisp [Battle Drone]
A fallen soul who has reincarnated into a wisp.
NA-LD and Dominatron: Pod
They call them so because they are already drones themselves. These drones are easy to build and carry. Rarely used in large-scale combat.

Has more dakka than Dominatron Attack Pod.
Repair Pod [Repair Drone]
Small Radar Pod [Radar Drone]

Fires continuously ion beams.
NA-LD Nuclear Torpedo Battery [Battle Drone]
Conversion Larvae [Support Drone]
A downgraded version of Conversion Bug but cheaper, although it can't FTL travel by itself.
The Corrupted (Upcoming faction): Imp
Imps are little automated creatures that serve as the main force of The Corrupted. They are small and weak but strong in numbers. They do nasty things around the galaxies like space gremlins.

Most Kristix modules don't use their own thrusters, so they rely on a gravitational link from Kristix Drone Core to move and operate. these drones are more advanced than other faction drones.
