At first, the subtle change remained unseen, as the project was intially desiganted as inconclusive, which meant that a few crafts that were present in the area of the jump would remain on their positions, awaiting possible return of the starship or any signs of it proceeding succesfully. Fortunately, the Borutian fleet was in fact not completely decimated as a result of a foreign alien attack and thus, there were quite a few units moving themselfs from one point to another with the usage of FTL Drives. As those who would come to know, perhaps through god-like powers, the usual borutian Faster-Than-Light drive uses the curvature of space to complete their journey in a quick manner, which in turn allows them to quickly check the gravitational effects around the area. Some time passed before a freighter had activated it's fastening machine and accidentally discovered the activity of the now-higher-dimensional-ship. The information that the experiment was successful, had spread quickly across the borutian network, however for some reason the craft is returning. Was there something interesting enough to keep it's attention there? Perhaps, it was stuck? Or it became non functionable? There were quite a few questions, however they were all to be answered soon. The discovery didn't much shake the fungi aliens, nor their workings, but it was a very interesting sight for them. Soon enough, an exchange of figures and ideas took place. The discussion turned out to not be too long and what was decided appeared to be rational.
Due to how big the anomaly appears, all starships will be informed to only pass through the region if necessary, after all none know what hazardous happenings take place in that higher dimensional space or if it could rain down upon the Borutians. Next, the Assembly will figure out if there is a way to externally contact the spaceship and will additonally build a second dimensional drive to attempt the jump again. And so, the fungi started trying to uncover any secrets or useful pieces of data that could help them send the starship back to them and continue the project.

The conditions of this extraneous dimension that the borutian ship materialized in after the jump seemed to be more demanding than initially predicted. Though there is a lack of aggressiveness, there is also a lack of passiveness, as the nothingness that stretches within this different scalar field unforgivingly drains the resources of the ship moment by moment.
It was a race against the clock as the resources drained from the ship and spread across the nothingness of the dimension, the damage of the ship was extensive enough to put a deadline in its life. Nevertheless, there are some efforts to be taken, it could use its energy to produce a data cube secure enough to last to whoever comes next, or reroute its energy completely to its preservation and save itself.

Fort_Master_Gustav The dragon was flung into one of the rifts around Lux Iustorum,appearing in a far away system somewhere in the edge of the galaxy. Unfortunately,it's newly acquired enhancements were stripped away almost immediately after. After several days of feeding on a nearby star's energy,it was finally able to traverse purgatory once again,though the it's energy was drained much faster than what it used to

The enhanced shard was kept in Sephaelus to be experimented on under orders of their leader,particularly what conditions needed to be met for a magnaspawn to get such a tremendous enhancement.

Experimentations seemed to be unfruitful. Somehow, every time they tried to repeat this experiment it simply wouldn't work normally. If the magnaspawn actually acquired an hability, it seemed to lose it in some way right after it, by some kind of interdimensional effect, it was almost as if the conditions that the creation of the unique being were extremely rare, or that its very existance forbid the creation of more of its kind, or the knowledge of its existance and the willingness of replication of a being like it changed the outcome of the rituals.

The Borutian forces in realspace gathered quickly and came up with a possible solution to this problem. The plan itself wasn't complicated nor hard to achieve, it's problem rather rested in how successful the maneuver would be, as as of yet the effectiveness of interdiction upon the interdimensional drive was not clearly known. The interdiction that the fungi would use was a simple modification of their current Faster-Than-Light device, that instead of curving space around would flat it out. The operation was swiftly commenced and several ships in different places, all around where the higher-dimensional starship would be, activated the interdiction. Either outcome, the results would be useful for this civilization.

As the interdiction activated, they could see that the imprint that the ship in the higher dimension was generated simply dissapeared almost completely. In fact, only due to the fact that they already knew of its existance there that they could detect it, as if they were unaware of its presence, the data would definetly pass as simply an error margin in the sensors.
For the ship in the other dimension, the afterimages of the system got hazier and hazier, until they dissapeared completely, almost as if the system simply went missing.

The Borutian forces predicted that the higher dimension signature would disappear and as such prepared a recon group consisting of a few starships equipped with the borutian Manifold Active Scanners. The team quickly dispatched and went on to search the stretches of the void where the presence was detected. Meanwhile, the roughed up craft began a detailed scan of it's surroundings, after a few minutes of checking ship functions.

Fort_Master_Gustav After several more test,they decided to stop actively trying and instead let it happen naturally. All attempts were stopped and they all went about their usual business,though all travelling magnaspawns must report on any strange dimensional occurances.

The ship within the dimension, damaged as it was, had few moments of power left. The situation was looking dire.
If the interdiction was deactivated, the afterimages and the impression of the ship would return, providing enough correlation to conclude causality between these happenings.
However, whilst the interdiction was activated, the Manifold Active Scanners were useless.

The Borutian seekers activate the interdiction and scan the area first. If nothing was found in a reasonable amount of time they would disable the interdiction and search using their active scanners.

Once again, the inprint of the ship upon realspace reappears after the interdiction has been deactivated.
Meanwhile, the ship on the other side is on its last strands, nothing short of immediate action will result in its perishment.

The Borutian forces eventually realise that doing what they are currently attempting is pointless and await some sort of a signal from the starship in a higher dimension, which decides to steer itself towards the big anomaly or The Storm.

The ship activates its thrusters and sends itself the way towards the large ball of light that sits, even at this shortened space, at quite the large distance. That is where its last moments of energy is dumped, if they can head to some kind of hybernation as of now, they would. However, the shredded hull of the ship proves a mighty enemy of the defense against the cold of the space, and thus the ship freezes over losing its energy, drifting idle and dead through the bizarre dimension-space.
Eventualy, a blip appears on the radars, recognizing the mangled hull of a once-ship. It seems to have appeared at the edge of the galaxy, bordering on the limit of their searching capability. From the dead wastes of the ship the log of events is gathered, and the information that they could acquire from the other side, inside the bizarre dimension. Alas, victory, though bittersweet?

And so, ended the folly of the Borutian starship. Dead and cold, just like in it's primordial state. Perhaps it will become a relic, for another wanderer to find ? The question stood as, Borutians back around their homeworld would eventually realise, that their efforts are for nothing as the missing starship wouldn't return. In the rescue ship's place, a few scanners were placed in hopes of finding the stellar vessel once again, although those hopes were only slight. The starship's journey wasn't all fruitless though, as it had supplied it's creators with valuable information that would be later turned into a remainder of it's golden, yet cold destiny.
