Not sure if this has already been suggested, but crewmates require oxygen to breathe, so maybe there would be an oxygen tank that slowly ran out. No oxygen = suffocation = death

I made flak clouds last longer (1.5 seconds to 15 seconds)

-Friendly fire is always on, can be annoying or helpful
-Shields are hit all projectiles including yours/friendly
-Flak shots explode into HE bullets which will cause the smoke cloud and it should block energy weapon shots and blind any/all weapons from aiming within 4 meters

As I said, since missiles with be getting R A N G E there has to be some way to stop them besides just secondary measures. (Yes, shields are secondary defences.)
Another logical solution might be to give laser antimissile guns kind of low damage, forcing you to have several in order to have a somewhat effective screen.

ResExsention no, crew are in desperate need for this system. You need crew to load the ammo onto the conveyor system and crew to unload the bullets from the storage and into the cannon.
