Graphics with ShowInBuildMode for blueprints only

I've been wanting and suggesting tons of expansions for blueprints before but the new ShowInBuildMode for indicators seems to be one good and simple solution Graphics could use.

I don't understand the suggestion.

With this option I basically want to use graphics component for blueprint mode only because they can be used more flexibly with other control mechanics. Mostly in cases where normal blueprints do not work or are not available and indicators are simply not the right tool.

dynamic changes like chained to something
changes with toggles other than UIButtons like logic or storages
area effect like FTL efficiency
dynamic changes connected to buffs like extending barrels

Lafiel Those would require a massive revision to the blueprint system, which is definitely not happening.

Walt Which is why having an option which would only turn on the ordinary graphics component when in editor mode can do it without having to rewrite anything with the blueprint graphics.

Lafiel Oh i see what your suggesting now. I didn't understand that at all. I'll think about it. It's probably not hard to do, but also probably not something I'd ever use for vanilla.
