The ship they were closest to opens its doors to reveal a small black haired individual in what seems to be white-gold uniform standing on the entrance. He then proceeds to walk towards the entaurage but stops several meters before them.

*The three guards are all human, but the diplomat- at least, that's what you assume they are- is a skinny, lanky alien that almost looks dehydrated, with their skin stretched over their psuedo-ribs and the skull. His voice is surprisingly smooth and he says, "Greetings. I am Daron, the diplomat of this station. What is your name?"

Amazing_Goob (only military ships I've got capable of ftl rn currently the rest are busy so a defence ship was deployed) The message is blatantly ignored as the scanners begin locking on to the drone armour signature the battleship moving towards the target it's hull scorches fading to black as the ships engines roar to life, blue scorching fire shooting out the rear thrusters

"My name is captain Mustafa of 97th Independant Merchant Guild exploration unit. Our mision is to explore the galaxy and seek new trading partners."

Impenetra The reply comes in galactic standard and states the drone will be repaired and deployed then the battleship will return to within GFM territory

Amazing_Goob The Mrrshan commander says the drone will be informed to move to the next system once it is redeployed they apologize for any inconvenience his voice grinds at the end before the alkari steps in and says drop the drone we'll pick it up and re-program it.

The drone is ejected out of an airlock. Another message comes through, with a questioning, but careful, tone:
"Are your leaders willing to send a diplomat of any kind?"

Amazing_Goob "Not today we apologize", electromagnet hooks launch from the ship and reel in the drone, moments later a whole new drone drops out the hanger it's clear this is a newer model by the fact it's been equipped with a set of retractable missle pods and a turret it FTL's out in the other direction to the battleship, the battleship leaves a couple moments later

As the only truly independant guild of merchants, we have flourished and expanded all across the galaxy, giving us acces to more or less any goods you request; from medicine, armors, jewelry and robots to exotic food, drinks, building materials and furniture."

"We would be willing to share info on a few factions or organizations, but not all of them, since we respect our client's wishes to secrecy."

"Just install this chip in your head ship and you'll be free to pass through NCE territory, along with our vassals. I cannot give trading rights, however, so you'll need to head to Guarali- the capital of our Prince, where you can get one."

(About how large the empire is? Well, it's large but I'm not sure what counts as large. A hundred stars? A thousand? A million?)
