HMS-Hood The Spartans grab the diplomats and run into a full sprint towards the shuttle. Hailing the destroyer to ready for a rendevouz.

They make it, running up the boarding ramp and strapping in, the shuttle takes of trying to out as much distance as they can between the station.

ONI platoons of fighters flood from the station as a raiding party jumps out of FTL several new SAS craft appear out of the station, there are even a few that are under 1o by 12 meters large, the RMS Hood screaming through the debris flack fires from the station and RMS Hood it seems as if the air was entirely filled with bullets you watch as an attacker get hit and explodes its fiery wings and tail flash by as the rivets and bolts hit the ship making small tink-age on the side on the ship

two swifts make a comms line with you sending this message "this is fighter wing 76 we are going to escort you out of the battle to safety

The orbital station known as the "Valhalla" has recently been attacked by large raiding party officials say that all was under control one of the station solar arrays were destroyed by what appears to be a nuclear payload and the city is now under severe power outages the origin of these pirates is unknown

ONI the two fighter escorts peel off of the UEG ship, it was odd escorting the enemy but, it needed to be done, they hoped they would end this war soon

Drakador_Chaos The old soon to be retired fleet is sent through the rift to be sacrificed. They have no munitions or crew on board.

As the empty ships drifted into the rift, the tear began shuddering, twitching, accompanied by a deep rumbling which came over the comms of nearby ships, almost like a deep roaring sound, interfering with the sensors, then the tear began closing slowly, the remaining red mist in the area returning to the other side, what happened to the ships remained a mystery.
About fifteen minutes later, the rift was gone and then, a moment later, the tendril which had been stretching seemingly into infinity behind the rift was gone as well...
The only present objects were now the patrolling fleets and at the former location of the rift, a tiny red glowing orb, with swirling black and red fog inside it...
Was this the 'Prophecy'?

in UEG space where the diplomat's ship exited FTL, you see a blue flash, but no ship (the HE 162 is a stealth fighter) at the time of the flash the ship's radar did pick up a ship but only for the briefest of seconds

in the cockpit of the HE 162 the pilot looks down at his feet where the cloaking device is, hoping it doesn't fail on him praying it keeps running for this little trip for the plane he is in is quite small only 7.5 by 9.25 meter wide and long and seeing as the plane is wood coated in radar-absorbent alloys, he keeps his distance until the ship is close to its destination then, he can peel off and take photos and return home

ONI the pilot's flight computer blares klaxons "warning stealth system malfunction warning stealth system malfunction" the pilot cusses as he pushes the engine past its tolerated threshold his cloaking systems on his port side wing go down, his stealth systems are now fully down and his location is broadcasted by the bright and large orange arc of the jet exhaust Jayson punches in the jump location the still warming up. then the jump fails, he is out of FTL fuel, "shit!" the pilot exclaims loudly now to pray they don't find him

HMS-Hood The hostile ship is picked up on immediately by the ships in the area. "Unknown craft you have entered restricted territory." The small craft is then picked up by a nearby destroyer._

Drakador_Chaos The red orb appears on ships veiwscreens, making the bridge crews stumped at what it is. They don't know weather to go up to it and bring it in to their cargo bays. As the closer ships moved forward to inspect it more, they received fleet wide orders to not go near the unidentified object._

Back on Earth at The Hive. The high ranking officers discussed this strange series of events, the red orb, and as well how to prepare for in case another event like this occurred. After hours of discussion they came to an agreement.

New weapon systems capable of dealing heavy damage. From the battle Fusion Rockets were the most effective way of pushing back the enemy. New weapons research projects regarding these would have to be put in place.
Now the motives behind these attacks were talked about too. From battlefield analysis the demands of the hostile forces was ships, so it was debated that they could either be researching weaknesses in ships, and as well growing their numbers. Good thing the UEG ships given were severally outdated.
Now the Red Orb. A special recovery team was sent to extract it from the site, or at least try to.

The recovery team arrived at the orb. Using a specialized pod with large grabbing hands glided towards the red marble. The pod maneuvers around it, trying to grasp the cube.

ONI the pilot quickly opens the throttle fully, past the point of which it is safe you see the engine the HE 162 uses is the same as the one from the swift FR.13, which places it far above what is needed to propel the craft. the craft's engine creates a large orange and yellow arc bigger than the plane itself the plane is soon flying away from the craft at unparalleled speeds (5:1 thrust to weight ratio) it deploys chaff and flares in case the destroyer tries to launch any missiles

HMS-Hood The fast craft escapes, but the fleet sends a single ship to pursue them. Launching a Broadsword AeroSpace fighter, which streaks towards the enemy craft.

ONI the HE 162 does a 180-degree turn on a knifes edge it starts firing its two 35mm autocannons although 35mm is a small round the craft's guns have very long barrels increasing its speed and velocity and stopping power the guns make a heavy and deep *thunk thunk thunk * noise as they fire after it attacks the craft pulls away once more pulling into a steep 90-degree climb later pulling behind the broadsword

The closer the ships came to the orb, the more apparent it became something was... off, about it. Even more so than it had been already been obvious.
The... thing, didn´t appear on any of the sensors, bar the visual ones, the light and shadows swirled in the immaterial orb...
The only other indicator it was even there at all was a strong psionic anomaly in it´s place...
...and then as the pod approached the orb, the hands went right though it as it tried to grasp it.
The presence of the orb was soon felt in the ships all around the orb, a faint hunger, a foreboding feeling, the faint echo of a presence older than anything they ever met, the crew of these nearby ships felt...
...oddly attracted by it.
