HMS-Hood Waking up, to hearing Rocketman then Kenzie’s voice, confused the officer. She moved over in her chair, expecting her husband to be there beside her. She hit the floor with a thud, remembering he was back on tribute raising her daughter without her. “Good morning Kenzie.” The officer says grimly. “Oh? It seems like Naval Auto Cannons will shred them if aimed right. I’m supposed the coil guns don’t wipe them out in seconds.”
The officer heads for the mess. Her uniform crumpled after sleeping in it. Other officers salute, and she responds with a swift nod. Grabbing a tray, she heads to the menu. Inputting what she wants on the touch screen.
after waiting in line, she pulls her tray up to the counter where food is served. Her bowls and plates waiting for her filled with breakfast food. And coffee of course. Gingerly taking it, she sits down at an empty table. Pulling out her datapad to review her report. Looking though The Stars magazine, and pictures of her daughter.
Next she heads back to her office and readies herself to go talk to that prisoner once again, hopefully for the final time. God she hated it because of what they did. Not before filing her report.
To her surprise, a response was quick. Extract any information necessary then terminate.
Now this did put a smile on her face, as she hailed the service elevator. Taking her down to the brig. Reaching the prisoners cell, she picks up a pair of boots from the rack nearby. Tossing them to the engineer once she gets inside. “Now tell me everything else you know.” Putting her datapad on the table to record. The engineer spills what else is left. “Thank you for your cooperation” the officer says. Before leaving the cell she slides her pistol out of its holster and pulls the trigger. A single 12.7x40mm round tears through the engineers head. Exiting into the wall behind her. “Guards, get a clean up crew in here”, swiping her datapad off the table and whistling rocket man as she headed back to the elevator.
