This force is met by planetary defences. The carrier deploys its interceptors. Fast 64m long ones that is. The smaller ships such as destroyers and frigates break off and begin to harass the smaller targets with missile, coilguns, and MAC fire.

One of the destroyers fires its nuclear payload onto one of the bigger ships.

The cruisers and carrier do the same but targeting the bigger craft from a far.

The Marauders fired all kinds of missiles, underestimating the size of the longsword interceptors by a lot..and much in their quantity too. As typical, the nightwings couldn't handle coilguns or the MACs
The Flamemaker shot twice at the carrier, or anything obstructing it.
The Barrago slowly made its way toward the closest ship, firing almost all its beams
The WO-29s had decided just to fly away from the battle for a few seconds and attempt to gain some sort of advantage even if only knowing that they're gonna lose anyway

Coming into the room stood an empty platform as well as more lockers with weapons. A simple target range sat off to the left through a pair of double doors. Nat could use this to pass the time or sit back in the simple lounge set up.

Holland goes and sits in a chair. Pulling out his datapad and saying I will give updates on the suite when I can. It will be ready back in the room we just came out of.

ONI She Walks Over to The Weapons, and looks Around, She Sees an MA37, and Grabs It, Weighing it in Her Hands. She Aims Down The Side and Fires at a Few Targets, Missing At First, then Getting the Hang Of it and Hitting Bullseyes Consistently, She Fires for almost an Hour, Also Trying out The M6A, and the M7 SMG.

Heading back into the room she sees her armour back on the pedestal. This set was new. None of the dings and scratch marks were there at all.

This is the new GEN III system your looking at. Your old suit was the GEN I. This new suit has a lot of tricks up its sleeve. Holland says.

As she steps up onto the platform the machine dis assembles the amour and leaves an obvious spot for her to step on. The machine begins assembling the armour up and around her, and finally places her helmet on her head. A familiar hum is heard as her system boots up.

She is Moving Her Fingers Around, Shocked at how Responsive it Is, The Gen 1 Was Fast, but this is Instant. She Looks Around, and Follows Holland Wherever he Goes, ready to Test this.

Around Nat the world begins to change. What once was the test room now became a fighters cockpit. It felt real. She could feel the controls in her hands, the press of buttons and even the vibration of the craft. Today your going to be engaging enemy fighters. They are marked red on your HUD. It is still the same as your old suit, threat recognition has been upgraded quite a bit.

The fighter you are in is the SF-44 Tempest. A multi role stealth fighter Holland says You will be facing Liang Dortmound Interceptors today as well as some of their ships. All range from freighters to a corvette size. After this you'll get a dossier that will catch you up to speed on current events.

SF-44 Tempestt is an all-weather multirole stealth combat spaceplane. The newest in the line of space fighters used by the UNSC. The Tempest is armed with four retractable ELS-83 missile launcher pods and as well retractable 40mm M7044 autocannons.

She blinks and the view in front of her changes to a raging space battle. All realistically simulated. Capital ship missiles fly towards enemies she had never seen. She watched a frigate class that seemed to be familiar get hit by a cluster of missiles its shields flaring for a moment.

ONI She takes it all in, before Dodging and weaving between Missiles and Bullets. She Locks onto an Interceptor, And unleashes a volley of missiles, Destroying the interceptor, she continues taking out interceptors All the while completely Silent. After a Couple Hours of The Sim, she speaks. "Alright, Colonel, I'm good for now, Pull me out."
