The corvette tries to evade but is slammed with missile fire, its point defences unable to shoot down all the missiles in time. The ship detonated as its fusion reactor explodes.

On the Bayonne the ship shudders and the decks vibrate as its MAC gun fires as an enemy frigate is targeted. The slug hits the ships side "arm" like sections. The round tunnels into the ship and moments after impact the ship is mostly vaporized due to the amount of force behind the MAC round.

The Bayonne targets another enemy ship with its missiles. Taking them and clipping them. The feet defending Gao was ill prepared for an attack at this magnitude.

As the final Gao ships are mopped up and defeated, the takeover of the planet can now begin.

The droppods hung in the bay of the cruiser Hit Your Limit. Over the comms systems officers gave final commands to their fire teams.

In each of the drop pods a triple burst beep sounded as the pods all in rows were dropped. As they fell through the brink of orbit and into the planets atmosphere, heat began to lick at the pods as friction grew from the speed they were gaining on re entry. At 7000m to go the pods all pop chutes which begin to slow the decent of the pods until they break off at a stable speed for the pods to land at.

The entire company lands in the jungle under the cover of darkness. A series of rebel outposts are supposed to be in the area, as well as a sets of old anti air missiles that could stop bombing runs when they come all together. The company landed clustered with their designated fire teams which all split up to go take out their respective targets.

Terket Attempting to shoot down a warning shot that clearly missed intentionally does not go over well. It’s seen as trying to engage.

Regardless, turning around won’t do much as the standard Double MAC system outfitted on this class of destroyer would leave the ship in front of it a burning wreckage.

The destroyer fires another missile this time targeting the ship due to it not really complying.

The ship was detected to have six beam arrays and two railguns, the loader seemingly able to load plasma also as seen from the windows

Terket The 485 meter heavy destroyer unleashes its missile volley and fires both of its MACS at the hostile craft.
The deck vibrates as the 600 ton rounds exit at a very high speed and impact on the enemy ships hull.

The Nightwing fired its four beam arrays at the closest craft along with its two railguns, plasma loaded to specifically damage any shields rather than attempt piercing through them. It still was backing away at full..
the defense arrays on the nightwing scrambled to hit the missiles before it and nearby armor getting wrecked by the massive cannons

Terket The two destroyers stagger there shots. Missiles and slugs are launched. While the shields are designed to stop heavy plasma bombardment, the shields drop because of the emp effect and the railguns slam into the ships armour wearing down the six feet o Titanium A down.

The nightwing was far outmatched at this point, no longer operating at full power, attempting to bolster full shields and make sure the missiles and slugs don't hit at the exact wrong angle, rotating around to side, and it seemed to quickly flash status between yellow and green.

Terket (These slugs don’t need a perfect angle to hit. Wherever they hit you your fucked. They vaporize craft or absolute shred through it.)

Hundreds of missiles fill the vaccine of space between them. The destroyers are more then an even match for this one ship due to their ability to take on ships much bigger then them and come out on top.

Both destroyers fire MAC volleys into the ships.

The nightwing, even if its front starboard defense array were still intact, would be overwhelmed quickly by the firepower, and crumble. It didn't help that the two destroyers were bigger than the nightwing ship
Whilst this would be noticed immediately, it would take time to reach a solution..

Terket The destroyers finish off the ship. They return to their duties and report the craft in. Patrols in the area are increased in case any other ships return.

Brank At the Sound Of Reach She Immediatley Gasps, and Her posture is More Exited. She Removes her Helmet, Revealing Short Blonde Hair and Blue Eyes, as Well as a Long Scar on her Neck along the Jugular.
"Yeah, She's Old, But Hold On, We're Going to Reach?! I thought the Covenant Glassed it! Did you Win the Human-Covenant War? Is Jun Alright? What about the Pillar Of Autumn, Did it Make it to Earth?"
She Looks Confused, Exited, and Scared at the Same Time, while Anxiously Moving her Hands.

Unsure of who she was talking about. He said no idea. He then explained that they did win the war. 17 years ago and some of the Covenant or what ones were not hostile after became peaceful with humanity. Some of our biggest allies were once enemies. He also doesn't say he knows anything about the POA due to that operation being classified to hell and back.

He almost forgot to add that Reach is back to what it once was, better than before.

The prowler emerges from slipsace. As Reach comes into view the ship moves to dock at a station. Soon the main doors to the hangar open. a boarding ramp extends and crew come off the ship. A man in a captains uniform strides out onto the deck. A data pad in his hand. The officer shouts officer on deck as the captain walks over to them.

ONI She salutes the Captain, before quietly talking to herself a few seconds later. "Guess Noble teams been forgotten." she sighs and pulls a pair of dog tags from her neck, they read "Jorge-052, Spartan II Program." She looks at them, and a single tear forms on her eye, and she quickly wipes it away, putting the dog tags on her neck again, alongside her own. "what's the ETA for Reach?"
