But from looking in the perspective of a third party, you seem to be in a serious denial of what you are doing.

If you do then do you get another ship from the buy ships menu remove everything and put your stuff in?
The startership is super common with this.

I then ask do you feel any ownership of said ship?
because this ruling says you don't.

If clowns like you take someone's hull, put some extra parts and call it a new ship, then this game isn't for you.

But speaking of modifying someone else's work:

Jared nah, there's some star trek ones though so, could be someone else's, could not be. Probably just from one of the numerous star trek hull pages, not worth looking into lol.

I want to make this easier/harder for everyone here there is a class of ships called wall ships they by design are a wall of guns followed by a wall of defenses followed by engines. Now there is a huge variation of differences between the internals of wall ships, in fact this separates good wall ships from less good ones but by design almost all wall ships look very similar.
No one argues that they are the same ship. (if you try I will sit back with my marshmallows on a loooonggg stick and have toasty marshmallows)
Is this not a very similar problem.

No because you clearly took the frame of his ship and than modded it it in, you even used his paint, difference with ship classes is that there built from the ground up, yes a straight line will look like any other straight line, yours however is a copy

also walls are a competitive type of ship, that is different than making aesthetic ships, aesthetic ships are not supposed to be a meta meaning if you copy it your more stealing than taking inspiration. Meta ships are way different, it’s expected you’ll see variations of the same looking ship, as people will try to improve on it, meta ships are basically community owned, not individually created

On top of all of this, Ultra asked you very nicely to remove them as they are clearly copies, you clearly loaded his ships into the game and removed his stuff and put in your own (if that was not the case why would you have the exact same paint job) but you had to take it the way wrong way and get all defensive about it, you clearly stole, look at any other original ship, and find me one that was not modified that looks the same

I am responding you because you are the cause and primary mover.

I have two messages the first is the Star trek ships are designed from ground up with no help anywhere in Cosmoteer. So good luck finding something I copied from on them.

Second you guys have beaten me into submission I tired and am throwing in the towel.

Altraxia I've just checked through them and none of the other ships i've seen are from other people. (At least the ones with paint) Which included the Star Trek ships, Dano's ships are larger and differently shaped than Ben's.
