Have you ever tried to use Nuclear Missiles against an opponent only to find the nukes refused to launch? Then you're like "JUST FIRE ALREADY!" but they still won't work? And then your nuke launcher was destroyed before it could finally fire? If so, I have great news for you!
This mod fixes Nuclear Missile Launchers to work properly in Cosmoteer by making them behave like a fixed weapon (Ion Beams or Railguns) instead of a turret weapon (like all missile launchers). Additionally, this mod also rebalances both Nuclear Missiles (by removing their homing ability) and Nuclear Missile Launchers (which now possess zero firing arc radius). Basically, Nuclear Missiles behave as they did when they were first introduced in Cosmoteer, but with this change: in many cases they should fire at large, slow enemy starships about as effectively as a railgun would. It's worth noting though that nuke-strafers should no longer work since there is no firing arc for the nuke launcher.
