I've got a Death Star that doesn't require mods at all. Max ship size, and is as functionally similar to the real deal as I could make it, though without that pesky weak spot. It's also FTL-functional and has a detachable core as a contingency plan. The primary "laser grid" is also able to hit multiple targets if the main focus is destroyed.
