Hey there Ako. Tried starting up after downloading the new version and came across this:

Halfling.Serialization.DeserializeException: Deserialization from source "<D:\Cosmoteer\Data\rules.txt>" failed. ---> System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> Halfling.Serialization.DeserializeException: Deserialization from source "<D:\Cosmoteer\Data\ships\terran\terran.txt>/Terran"

I know you're probably already getting buried by messages like this, so I shall take my leave at that.

i can only use one of the mods at a time or my game crashes

    enormous error logs like this is useless to me. read the forum thead before posting something like this.
    it seems, that you have an issue with the size of a sprite or animation somewhere but i don't know what it is an i don't have this error at all.

    you didn't put all the "Halfling.Serialization.DeserializeException:" error bloc. But i ll assume you have the same problem as the one above.

    which mods? both stargate and AWV are require to work but not the bounty hunter one.
    Is the bounty hunter addon make you crash? what crash? can you send me the error log ?
    (just the part starting with Halfling.Serialization.DeserializeException🙂. i don't want something enormous like above)

    If the pixel error persist try this; download the 0.13.9 version of cosmoteer and the 0.0.10 RC1 version of my mod.
    there is no new sprites between them except a new ammo count animation for the lasergatling and tell me if you have any error like this.

      i identified the problem and shall release a fix soon

        New version 0.0.10 RC3 is out !
        minor balance changes and a fix to those who had a pixel size error due to the superweapon having too many frames for its animation and too big sprites.

          i got this error Halfling.Graphics.TextureData..ctor(IntVector2D pixelSize, Int32 mipLevels, TextureFormat format) in C:\Users\Walt\Documents\Code\Cosmoteer\Halfling\HalflingCore\Graphics\TextureData.cs:line 132

            i ll make sure to try and fix this for the next version.

            also to test things out make sure you don't have other mod activated except mines to be sure that this error comes from my mods.

              i checked this was the first mod cdrmoteers mod was my second and this was only one activated

                this difficulty is beyond hard, i the starting ships are nothing to the starter enemies, and if i manage to kill 1, the second one kills me, and even destroys the debris so i cant regenerate, either way, i literally cant start the game with this difficulty so im asking if you can add an easier tier for people to start off in the akinata difficulty

                  well yes i can create one but all it will gonna do is give you more money when you kill ennemy ships and maybe add more fleet chance for you to fight less dangerous ships from time to time.
                  in fact akinata difficulty use the Hard vanilla difficulty setting but with better made and optimized ships (exept for a few ships).
                  I had lowered the number of fleet chance so you ll have less chances to fight low tier ships in high tiers so it is a bit harder to make money with less damage recieved.
                  Certains ennemies need special tactics to be beaten.

                  Use shields early on and at least one electro bolt or one thunder ray.

                  Also all the akinata ships can be found in any vanilla difficulty tho you wont have the 3 new tiers.

                      then your PC have a problem handling big sprites with some animation.
                      i ll try to lower sprites size and animation frames for 0.0.10
                      if the problem persist after this then you ll have to disable the super weapons inside the mod.txt file by putting // in front of their names like this:

                            2 things.
                            First there is RC3 available that fix some few bugs and balance.
                            Secondly, to avoid THIS particular issue you have, you should read this forum post or the README inside the mod files.

                                  @akinata as i wanted to start cosmoteer and activated your mod, it crashed and said 'common effects.txt' not found... Any suggestions how to fix it? greetings from germany

                                  Do we need the bounty hunter part?
