Weapon Range Rebalance Prototype
- Increases range of all weapons (except for PD and Flak) by 50%. π
- Increases the projectile speed of cannons, lasers, and electro-bolts by 50%. π
- both of the above very welcome - more range = less ship wrestling/ramming should be a good formula hopefully working out!
- Reduces the shot health of cannons, lasers, and electro-bolts by 1/3. π
- reducing the shot health of these weapons makes them even more
vulnerable to flak while rail shot health compared to it's bullet
speed is still very high so fΓΆak can be easily passed.
Ammo/Power Rebalance Prototype
In this category i dislike the price changes - some say price change is the worst method of balancing.
All other balancing done here is: very welcome especially the nuke storage explosion change.
Corridor Rebalance Prototype
Again price change seems not rly necessary here.
The weight and crew speed changes are very welcome.
The bunk/quarter door restriction is quite shipbreaking - don't know if we are ready for that yet ... tho some say: "earlier is better then never"
ideas:
- let crew pass each other faster when they are in a corridor - would make 1 tile wide corridors more attractive.
- since it is about extreme changes here i also propse: "twoway conveyors"
Momentum Rebalance Prototype
hmmmm ... less ramming sounds good but big drag in space just feels awkward
love&hate relationship with this one ..
Ship Rotation Rebalance Prototype
Easier flanking is clearly good time for fast orbiters - bad time for railfans and spinners.
i like that - tho others might not.
