The cities, the only military bases, merely routed their air shields to the most fired upon city, while deploying ships. About 100 ships came from the planet, including two SLAM Howitzers and two Holy Ships. The Cannoniers stayed close to the Howitzers, their shields overlapping to keep the two defended as they fired one after the other on the cruisers. Many more ships warped in, sticking to the frontlines and defending the Holy Ships with a few Frigates as they used their lightning weapons to fight the powerful ships.

The total force was 300 ships and quickly growing. A risky maneuver, but if they repelled this enemy now, they'd end this threat for a while. They expected the enemy to have a trick.

Mojowuq9 And a trick they had. While flak shredded any fighters that got cocky, the carriers launched fast fighters with shields. The fighters flew quickly, and dodged any slow-firing guns. The first battleship, however, opened a large door on the front of it's deck, and launched a large missile. The trick fired it's guns, stealth fighters coming around in a large flank.

Once the bay began opening, the SLAM Howitzers turned, and after the shields around it were simply overloaded, the Howitzers fired, They all missed by a few inches. A flank was obvious, and was expected, Electircal bolts being fired to explode like depth charges to disable their cloaking.

The magical bolts were able to hit the faster fighters, (Slightly faster lasers) the CI's fighters being used to defend, and not attack, as the flak array was quite noticeable. The Widewings provided frontline shield coverage.

The Battleships, now noticing the large shields, turn their guns towards the fleet coming near them, firing their large guns. A Howiztr's cannon is destroyed instantly, while others are damaged. The stealth fighters noticing their cloak gone, fire on the large electrical bolts, destroying them. They launch droid missiles and proton torpedoes at the fighters, their unshielded hulls turning to scrap metal as the droids rip and tear into them. The proton torpedoes take out A Widewing's large reactor, it exploding spectacularly. Some of the fast fighters dodge the electrical blasts, and go for a dive on two wide wings, and howitzers.

The stealth fighter's weapons impact the shielding but do not make it through in time before they are fired upon and destroyed, one Holy Ship being put out of combat. The Widewing cruiser is destroyed successfully from the blast, but the Photon torpedoes are taken out by point defense, although a few hit, enough to destroy one holy ship. The Fast Fighters that survive are taken out by the Howizter's defending ships as it fires upon the giant missile from the battleship, and successfully hit it, either disabling it or detonating it. However, the missile wouldn't do any major damage to CI forces due to it being hit early after launch, but would disable front shielding on 10 Widewings and 40 Interceptors. The damage on your forces...a huge amount.

((Payload assumptions here, but explosions are significantly reduced in space, as you certainly know.

Mojowuq9 *The shields of the battleships tank the railguns shells from the howitzers quite well, and while the fighters get shot down, the battleships fire another shot into the now unshielded ships. To say it destroyed them is an understatement. The large shells hit and destroy at least 6 Widewings, the reactors explosions glow a beautiful color of green. The interceptors (Idk what you are talking about, don't see any interceptors but ok) Are ripped to shreds, the shells high penetration ripping through a good 15 interceptors before cracking a 16's armor. Another missile is prepped, the deck door opening again. This time, 2 are launched. The mistake that befell the first will not for these 2, if not 1.

BattleCruiserCommander The Howitzer fires at the missiles, prepped for them to defend against it. The remaining Holy Ships focus on taking out the battleship's shields. Once that's done, the Cannoniers and Frigates fire their Railguns and cannons, focusing on the weapons and thinner armor bits, the weapons being focused on being any flak. Should the flak be destroyed, fighters swarm the battleship, a few going in to destroy the missile, the CI fleet moving backwards and parting to avoid the explosion.

Mojowuq9 The Battleships laugh, the shields only tickled by railgun fire (Don't say these shields are op, I tested them with the longest railgun i could make) . The carrier launches interceptors, their shields weaker than the battleships.

All of the fighters that were attacking the missile was shot down, the laser cannons shredding through any un-armored bits like a railgun. Both missiles hit their targets, 1 holy ship on either side of the approaching enemy. Its disintegrates 3 ships that were unlucky to have stuck close to the targets (3 on either side, 6 in total) In total, 20-25 ships were damaged and/or destroyed by both missiles.
