As the elitrian soldier drops down, he falls through thickened smoke and clouded smog. Flaming water trickeling down from the skies, then he fell down past it, the desert wasteland covering the surroundings, of course, he was dropping in quite close to the presumed temple grounds, a large cyan sphere being under him, through it was the temple itself, a massive multi cubic kilometre spanning surface structure consisting of a large central pyramidal structure and several other smaller shrines conencted with large sandstone bridges going over blue and green, thats when he collided with the barrier, at the speed he was going he would have certainly died, but suddenly he found himself on temple grounds, just 10 meters away from the barrier on a small sandstone porch, untouched and unhurt.
The sight was breathtaking for the temple, it looked like a palace now that he looked more clearly at it, around him wasn't a surface of dead sand, there was grass and trees unlike every other place on this surface, the temple was pyramidal as he saw it on his way down but now he looked more clearly at it, the tall pyramid didn't really end in a pointed top, instead the pyramid inverted downwards near the top, giving place for a massive 100 meter tall crystalline object, large chains kept the cystal from floating off, there was a sandstone path that lead upwards to one of the many entrances of the temple itself, large wooden ornate doors stood closed, yet he felt welcomed, a calm vague whispering soothing his inner soul which was screaming, something is odd, something is odd, over and over.
to his left and right were two of the temples outer shrines each on on a raised plateau, there was a total of eight shrines, all in perfect position for time zones of the planet's surface, the soldier saw that the path also split i na crossroad into the forest which was in this section of the temple grounds, presumably leading to stars which would likely allow him to reach one of the shrines, of course he could just go for the temple itself and not dilly dally outside for too long.
