Darknessry
The Inquisitor, a being of potency, a being of nigh-unrivalled energetic absorption power, a being that is sitting down on a chair looking at a star chart, a being of nigh-unrivalled boredom.
He was some hundreds of kilometers beneath the soil, above him a maze of interwining corridors, elevators, multiple factories from where the Delta forces came from, workers being built or converted, golems, drones, land vehicles, weapons, munitions, ships. Beneath him some more thousands of kilometers, guarding more important things such as the planet's reactor, everything around him spawned the Delta forces in and endless stream that'd culminate in an attack at an unsuspecting nation, or other evild deeds.
A blip came onto the star-chart. It caught the attention of the Inquisitor, but not only him, also of the four other beings that surrounded the table, as they all looked between each other thinking about which'd be sent to investigate this newborn anomaly.
The tall being that stood above all the others at the table talked, but no words or noises came out. Just the oscillations on the red circle on its obscured long cillindrical face, but all was understood between the ones in the high table. The factories would contine to produce, thousands would march above and below them, millions of projectiles would be pumped out of the large industrial machines that filled the planet with pollution, and surrounding the table were 5 figures.
High above the stormed desertic planet, in space, a small oddity would be spotted. Then three around it, then dozens, thousands, millions. What seemed to be quantum-scale fluctuations were distorting the fabric of space-time in a localized region, until it stopped, and in its wake was left the Inquisitor.
He sat there with his feet-less legs crossed, and metallic skirt that stood idly downwards in space, covering the underside of his probably gender-less husk. As he very calmly generated his right hand and grabbed his trusty staff, an artifact of power in its own.
He looked down the planet as the way that he sees things, seeing the energy of the world, as he tries to pinpoint where the anomaly manifests.
