gearshift48 (They are pretty much semi-solid barriers, so most kinds of scanning go right past them. Scanning a cloud of nanobots for some weakness is rather pointless tho, mostly when the designs were triple-checked by several quite advanced AIs. It might also be the energy-reflective paint the NAP applies to pretty much everything could interfere with some scanners, but I'm gonna disregard that for now.)
The scan works, but gives no especially good results. The physical armor of the entire thing seems quite unstable, almost liquid and the internal systems are too complicated to get a grasp on. The only interesting thing he spots is a massive energy source positioned in the center of the opposing machine.
The knight and his backup are interrupted by a deep mechanical voice devoid of any emotion.
P4-03: "Energy readings detected, tracking source. Adjusting behavior protocolls."
03 informs the soldiers as it scans the opposing robots and constantly adjusts its main weapon with new data, creating it to be especially dangerous against those foes, within the limited capabilities of the nanobots of course.
