The man looked at both of them, then he nodded and kept walking upwards, about half an hour later the staircase ended, the man walked to the center platform and waited...
"Well, we´re here, the door is in the back."
As CETA observed the room the first thing he noticed was the large ethereal blue glowing crystal which was floating above the center spring on the platform, the crystal had a calming and entrancing aura, it emanated a faint light from its center along with an unknown energy his sensory equipment couldn´t sort into any known niches.
"Oi, you people still there?"
CETA turned his attention towards the fleshling, according to his internal clock he had been looking at the crystal for an entire five minutes, his companion seemed to have done the same.
"Don´t touch that thing, trust me, terrible idea."
Who did this mortal think he was, he was CETA he would touch whatever he deemed fit!
The room had a spherical roof and very few windows, through which he could see the entirety of the city, the signs on the ground in this room seemed to be the most arcane in the tower, fit for it highest floor, looking through his records he started to notice something, it seems the signs on the different floor seemed to be small alterations of the signs on teh former floors going from the shape on the lowest to eventually those on teh highest floor. Curious.
In the back of the room another bridge connected to the wall...
...and on said wall was a familiar looking wooden door, similar to those he had formerly seen in the corrdior...
Was this the way onward, or perhaps even out?
"So...I´ll be leaving then...?"
The fleshling turned halfway towards the door and waited.

Arthur nodded and then continued up the stairs, after another terribly boring half an hour the staircase stopped, it seems they had reached the top floor.
"Well, we´re here, the door is in the back."
Arthur exclaimed, Nitrox began looking for the door but his gaze was immedietly cought by a large blue glowing crystal that was hovering above the spring in the center of the platform...
Its presence felt calm and entrancing, a faint shimmering came from its center, he felt the urge to walk towards it and embrace it...
"Oi, you people still there?"
For a brief moment Nitrox felt as if he had woken up from a dream, then the moment was gone.
"Don´t touch that thing, trust me, terrible idea."
Nitrox shook his head and looked around the room instead, there were some windows in the walls through which he could see teh entirety of the city, they were pretty high up, he could see the ceiling of the airpocket the city was in from this place...
In the back of the room, between the two staircases, there was a familiar looking wooden door on the wall, it looked similar to those he had seen in the corridor in the beginning of this ordeal. Was this the way out Arthur had been talking about?
"So...I´ll be leaving then...?"
The man asked, already having turned halfway towards the door.

The wormcreature jumped in surprise, or did something as close to 'jumping' as a wormcreature could do, moving it´s head out of the chest, rising to around three metres, it indeed had no arms, but a number of durable looking mandibles at the side of its head, which seemed to twitch occassionally. Four tiny eyes at each side of its head were fixated on Dhas.
"W...What are you!? What are you doing in my home?"
Like him, the creature seemed to communicate psionically.
As Dhas expected the creature was terrified by him.

...on the next floor the symbols seemed to show more of the dragon creatures and humanoids and more of the signs he could not read. The humanoids seemed to fighting against the dragons indicated by flames coming from the dragons heads and odd lines coming from the humanoids, going in the direction of the dragons, in another section there was an image of large objects and a portal like...something, the object looked somewhat like bubbles? ...eggs? ...spaceships?
Was this a war?
The next floor showed only the dragoncreatures, they were flying between massive pillar- or tower-like objects, the sun was standing above the scenery with oddly swirling lines inside it. Another picture on the same floor showed teh same dragoncreature closer up, they had indeed six limbs, some of them were wearing robes or armor and seemed to be capable of bipedal walking.
The next floor showed the dragoncreatures again, though these did not wear any robes, they seemed more... primitive? Flying above them was a large serpent-like creature with horns, looking down on them, additional lines indicating a sort of light emanating from it towards the creatures, in some places where the lines almost reached the ground, mounds of...earth? ...seemed to be on the ground, some having the rough shape of one of the dragon creatures...
Each of the floors was slightly smaller than the one before it, the next floor was only about a hundred metres in diameter, there was light coming from the staircases upwards, indicating this was the highest walled floor...
The walls here were almost entirely covered in the ominou signs apart of a single visualization.
There was the large serpent creature floating by the side of a large tree, in teh direction it was looking...
A piece of the wall carving seemed to be missing here. it seemed to be broken out with force. and there was no sign of it on this floor anywhere.
...he had visted six floor and didn´t find a sign of this piece anywhere, although he admittedly didn´t start on the lowest floor, nor had he been on the roof of the building yet...
Or anywhere on the outside. The question now was, what to make of these carvings and how to proceed...

As he observed the other people in his line and the other lines, he saw a large variety of gear in various states of degradation, some of it seemed to be in use for years, other as if it had just been crafted or made in a fabricator.
The, at least from the looks, most seasoned one was a large Werewolf like creature in another line with scars on its arms which wore a number of pretty worn down leather belts and metal armorpieces, interstingly enough its apparent confusion seemed to overshadow any sort of intimidation its appearence would usually cause.
Before he could make any contact with it though, it was his turn, the woman at the table looked at him for a few moments then nodded.
"Greetings sir, before we start the registration process I need your passcard. Weßll have to go through some formalities then I´ll be able to answer your questions, unless you have any particularly important ones you´d like to ask beforehand, then please go ahead and ask."

As he waited for his turn he looked around, there seemed to be alot of people going in and out of this place, each person in the line seemed to talk to the guard the guard then asked a few questions and eventually gave teh person some sort of paper, then the person went in, some also headed off into the city...
About fiften minutes later it was his turn, the guard looked at the shirtless farmer for a few moments...
"Your name and the reason for your visit in the palace sir?"
