...space was silent outside the warp prism Executor Dhas was traveling in, his thoughts were wandering as to which race he might encounter next...
Unknown and unnoticed he subconsciously started to slow down, lost in his thoughts he did not notice until he eventually fully halted...
How did this happen?
He scanned the surroundings and quickly found a chunk of debris, an old abandoned spaceship, something seemed to be attracting him to this place...
As he moved the warp prism closer he saw that most of the ship was run down beyond recognition, but ahead of him in a breach in the hull he saw a...door.
From the distance the door looked just like any other normal door this ship might have formerly possessed, it was also just as damaged as one would expect from a closed bulkhead holding back an explosion...
...and yet he couldn´t seem to avert his eyes from the door, closer scans revealed a small sign carved into the surface of the door...
Before he even knew what he did, he warped outside, now standing infront of the door, there was a small panel at the side of the door which seemed to be still active, once used to open the door when the ship was still intact...

CETAs new ship was magnificent, he had been inspecting it via the internal security systems just as in his drone body, currently he was doing the latter, he wandered the corridors most of them almost 4 metres high, with enough of these ships he could even build his own 'Ever Legion'...
He passed around a corner and was met with yet another corridor yet something felt...off.
He walked along the corridor and before he even realised he was standing infront of a door.
He checked the blueprints of the floor, to check where the door would be lea...
He stopped.
According to the blueprints this door didn´t exist, according to the same blueprints behind it were four metres of internal armor and it was not like the Kin to tolerate any inaccuracies.
...
Curiously he inspected the door, it looked just like any other normal door in the ship, had an accesspanel, just like every other door in the ship, yet upon closer inspection the was a small sign carved into it´s surface at just about half height of the door...
The door seemed to emanate an almost irresistable urge to open it, he, mentally, frowned as he noticed that he had almost automatically raised his arm to the accesspanel and stopped mid movement, looking at the accesspanel and the door once more...this was a most peculiar door.

...stars passed by outside the ship, Kar'Guraad was standing in teh middle of the bridge, his arms crossed infront of his chest, looking at the viewing screen...
After the meeting with Gestalt-Raven, they headed towards a suitable exit point and from there started traveling towards their new destination, even though their ship was fast it would likely still take several hours to arrive...
He turned around and left the bridge, heading into the deeper parts of the ship, towards his private quarters.
He felt as if there was a transition where he lost his string of thought and he was standing in one of the ships corridors. Infront of a door, nonetheless.
He knew this corridor just like every other in his ship, it was leading towards the engine room, this door however, should not be here.
He eyed it catiously...
Have there been any building alterations during his absence he hasn´t been told of?
The door looked just like any other on the ship, yet it seemed to emanate an distinct pull towards it, it was hard to even avert his eyes from it.
Upon closer inspection he found a small sign in the door, like an imprint into the metal...
This was no symbol as his race or the Collective normally used...what was this door?
He looked at it, cautiously but at the same time curiously...as a distinct thought started blossoming in his head...
'What was behind this door?'

Dark Storm was sitting in the cockpit of his current corvette, he had just finished another mission.
Stars were passing by in long stripes, the course was adjusted...
...now the ship was running on autopilot.
He stood up and opened the door of the cockpit, leaving it for the back of the ship, another corridor down and he entered his private quarters.
He looked at his room, he felt something as...off.
Then he froze mid movement.
There was a door at the other side of his private quarters.
His private quarters shouldn´t have any door there.
Slowly without even consciously registering it he walked towards the door, picking up his staff on the way.
The door looked like any other door on the ship, though it had a distinct pull to it, as if his mind was being attracted by it.
He inspected the door more closely, after a few moments he found a small sign carved into the door...
He had never seen this sign before, he had never seen this door before, yet it was hard to avert his eyes from it, what could possibly lie behind this curious thing?
His eye wandered towards the accesspanel used to open the door, it was active...what if he opened it...?

Elohims thoughts wandered as the stars passed by outside the ship...where was he going?
Did it even matter anymore? He sighed. HIs life had turned around within mere minutes and now he was on the run from a planetary gouvernment. His father...
He shook his head.
Now was not the time, he had to get onto other thoughts...
He left the pilot seat and went to the back of the ship... and stopped.
There was a door at the end of the corridor.
The door was on the wall behind the cargo hatch, logically there shouldn´t be any door there...
Before he even noticed what he was doing he had walked towards the door, subconsciously, looking at it with obvious distrust...
Yet he almost couldn´t avert his eyes from it.
As he inspected the door he found a small sign imprinted into it, an encircled, vertical eye...
Was this another project of the S.O.R.B. he didn´t know of?
Despite all his distrust, the door had an unnatural pull to it, slowly his eyes wandered to the opening mechanism...

Nate was floating amidst an unknown void, his ship had been cought by an unknown spatial-temporal anomaly and now, he was here.
Wherever 'here' even was.
Blackness surrounded him as he was floating aimlessly.
...
He felt his head turning, subconsciously and something rather dubious cought his attention.
There was a door floating amidst this Void.
It was a plain wooden door with a door handle, just like those primitive civilizations used as doors for their houses.
With some effort he went closer to the door, it was his only 'landmark' in this Void anyways.
He gripped onto the doorframe and inspected the door, and found out...
It was just that, a door floating amidst the Void, behind it... there was nothing, yet he hadn´t opened it, on both sides there was a sign carved into the wood he didn´t recognise...
He tried to look around and found nothing else but the door and every time his view was drawn back to the ominous door he was holding onto and ever so slowly his gaze wandered to teh doorhandle.
The next step was obvious.
What else was there to do here anyways?

Echo III was wandering the facility, it´s legs clanging against the metal floor, just like every other day.
Corridor A6, Corridor A7, Corridor B1...
clang, clang, clang, clang...
Corridor B2, Corridor B3...
clang, clang, clang, clang...
Corridor E7, Corr...
clang, clang...clink...
Silence...
Without even registering it Echo III had stopped, it´s sensory equipment registered an anomaly on the wall infront of it. Something that shouldn´t be there...
A door.
According to to it´s mental map there should be no door there.
But it´s structure was like that of any other door in the facility.
Echo III was pondering on the thought.
Could it be wrong?
It focused it´s sensory array and found yet another anomaly, on this anomalous door.
There was an unknown symbol imprinted into the doors surface.
There was nothing in it´s memory telling it where this door would lead.
An unregistered area in the facility it had been roaming for so long?
Echo III felt a distinct pull coming from the door, it seemed to be mentally, rather than physically...
clink, clink, clink...
The claws made on the wall when approaching the opening mechanism almost subconsciously...
Echo II was pondering...
If this door should not be here, what was behind it?

Nathan Briaz was a normal man, on a normal farming planet, he had a normal wife and two normal kids, but he was rather fine with that, imminent wars, no natural desasters, just a normal, calm, life.
Work for today was finished and he was heading towards teh took storage to put his automatic pitchfork away before heading home...
He opened the door and turned on the lights and walked over to the wall where his automatic pitchforks were stored...
...and then he stopped.
There was a door right next to the stash.
There was no door there before, not in the last 8 years he had walked in and out here.
He took a step back and looked at this door which just so abruptly disrupted his daily routine.
It looked just like the other door to the hut, but there was a small sign carved into it, easy to oversee...
He still had his pitchfork in hands... if he wouldn´t get going soon, he´d miss the magrail and get home late.
...and yet he couldn´t avert his eyes from this stupid door, standing there almost mockingly.
Slowly his eyes wandered to the doorhandle...

Snow blocked his sight in these arctic wastes, it wasn´t exactly a 'storm' but it was still hard to see and he should find a cave to set up camp soon, should the weather get worse...
William Hawkins kept moving, the dropships engines howled in the wind...
...
There.
A large cavity in the side of an icewall promised a somewhat safe haven, it was even large enough for the dropship. he moved it inside and landed.
A few minutes later he left the dropship to investigate the cave...
...and promptly froze mid movement, seeing a wooden door in the wall ahead of him.
Before he knew it he had walked towards the door, it seemed...old.
Older than it probably should be, the wood was darkened and a metal doorknob with a golden hue was the only thing adorning the...
No.
There was another thing, in the center of the door there was a small sign carved into the wood, apparently equally as old as the door.
He was wondering if he should go back to the dropship and yet... he didn´t quite feel like it.
This door had an ominous pull to it, seemingly attracting him...
But what could be behind such a door in this desolate place?
Slowly his view moved to the doorknob again...
There was only one way to find out.
