the endless void was quiet in the solar system of Uih, the gate ready to snatch any idiots foolish enough to enter the capital system of the GBE into the middle of a minefield and the grasp of the Gnar defense fleet. It was all quiet, the recent effort of TIE in using some sort of gateway to send thousands of troops right onto the surface of Gnar had caused quite the ruckus planetside, civilians likely paranoid of such a sudden invasion while ruined city districts were slowly rebuilt, corpses and debris getting cleared together with the wrecks of imperial walkers and tanks.
None of the tactical officers of the GBE really expected someone to come to gnar, or even attack it. So it was a honest surprise when they had detected a sudden fluctuation in the interdiction field that protected Gnar, the defense fleet readied for some ships to get snatched into the gate... But they never came, then sensors finally detected a truly massive object in system, 200 million kilometers, or over an AU away from the gate proper. Visually, a green glowing planetsized object had been torn out of FTL by the gate's interdiction. Sensors were having a very hard time even detecting the object, or well, objects as it wasn't alone, mostly due to the fact there was so ridiculously high radiation levels that covered the planetsized object.
The object had several other ships accompanying it, all over 10 kilometres in length for some reason. In total there were 2 60KM, 2 50KM, 1 40KM, 1 30KM, 11 20KM ships, all having large amounts of radiation covering their hull, way more than any ship the GBE had could safely handle. They unknown ships seemed disoriented as they had seemed to have arrived through alcubierre, a FTL the gate's interdiction couldn't force into the gate itself.
Several scans washed over the star system as the ship gathered and accelerated towards the edge of the solar system without actaully turning, like if they had some sort of omnidirectional drive, well the quite large electromagnetic field that surrounded the group and pulled them toward their seemingly intended destination.
