Dumb
He looks at his soldiers before turning to Luca again.
Gabriel: "You may skip the mister, it doesn't really suit me and also sounds pretty stiff.
You wouldn't happen to have training facilities or such for my men? It's been a while since we were on a proper mission and I would like to make some exercises with them."
The soldiers listen up when he mentions the training, looking at each other and having a short talk using handsigns. One of the soldiers finally speaks up. His voice is slightly muffled by his helmet, but one can easily pick up he's uneasy.
???: "You wouldn't refer to field training, would you? The guys and I agree that having all of us getting beaten unconscious wouldn't really benefit the mission."
Gabriel: "That's the issue, Josh. You're not supposed to go down to begin with, even less that quickly."
Josh: "Sounds simple, really. Well, we don't have much of a choice, orders are orders..."
The shuttle heading towards the planet is a silver tank hauler/troop transport hybrid with grav-engines in the centers of the two reversed wings positioned over the doors of the crew cabin. Opposing to the main ship, this one obviously is a stock design, not even modified to adjust it to its current role as the shuttle of a salvaging crew.
Aboard are five individuals, Oldie, Henry and another bodyguard, a woman in a cloak and a pilot. Henry, who is occupying the co-pilot seat, turns to the three people in the back as they enter the atmosphere.
Henry: "We're almost there. There's one thing I don't get tho. Say, why did we bring her with us, boss?
I thought we were going to have a talk, not a war or even worse..."
Oldie: "Sure, we're only having a normal meeting with these guys down there. Eva can do more then genociding and beating you in an eating contest. You're just pissed because you lost, aren't you?"
Henry: "She never even ate a single bite, that was cheating!"
The woman seemingly named Eva finally speakes up too, her voice absolutely calm and even slightly bored.
Eva: "I'm here for analysis and as translator aswell as protection against psychic stuff. And to do your job should you fail to do so yourself. Mostly the first two, but you never know. Any further questions?"
Henry: "Shit, whatever. We're just about to reach our destination, get ready."
He leaves his seat and shoulders his rifle from the weapon holder attached to the wall. All of them get ready as the shuttle stops roughly a meter above the ground and opens the sliding door on the left side. The four people simply jump out of the vehicle and land safely on the ground as the shuttle moves upwards and takes a stationary position to pick them up later.
