Would it be cool,
If the grappling hook was actually a thing?
It would be a 1 x 3 Electobolt like weapon,
Which fires a long rope,( this will have limited range)
And when the grappling hook attaches itself on a ship,
3 to 5 of your crew members will 'walk' on the rope,
Like how they walk on structures and such.
The crew members will proceed to 'board' the ship and damage parts
The enemy crew members will attack the crew members until they are eliminated.
The 'rope' can be broken by
-Debris such as leftover parts from destroyed ships
-laserbeams
-Electric bolts
-ion lasers
-etc.
The rope WILL be a physical object in-game,
Enemy ropes can be targeted like any other object in-game
That would be a fun idea.
