The rather young Commodore, at only thirty five years old, looks at the ice sheet as the meteor crashed, it was almost like a galactic game of billiards with the ship being the cue, the asteroid being the cueball and the planet being the target, and as the dust faded, he saw that it had been a perfect hit, the ice sheet melted and the way to the ancient facility was clear. He had ten minutes before their rather short orbital window closed, and he didn't have much time to set up a network of probesats over the planet, they had to act quickly, and thus, he looked at the comms officer and then ordered, "Call the second detachment of marines stationed to this ship, order them to proceed to shuttle bay three" to which the communications officer nodded, quickly swiping to his eyes a holographic interface without even looking, he was so used to doing this that he didn't even have to try, the communications officer selected a deck and then a deck layout for that particular level was displayed, to which he selected a particularly spacious room on the far center of the ship. For a second, a rotating set of dots appeared on the screen to indicate the transmission connection being loaded, and then a large set of cornflower-blue words appeared on the screen, indicating that the transmission succeeded, and the exact words were...

On the other end, the marines of the ship were laying down in their bunk beds, one of them lazily replies a silent "Yeah?" in response to the white noise alarm indicating that they were being talked to, before the commnet officer smirked at the next comment he was going to utter, saying out loud, "Rise and shine soldiers!" The entire bridge crew tried their hardest to resist a chuckle, and the marines on the other end weren't exactly amused however they still stood up, and stood at attention, before the commisioned officer barked out, "The Commodore wants you at shuttle bay three in ten minutes, grab your gear and do his bidding, slaves!" This time, the bridge crew couldn't resist and the entire Combat Information Center laughed, Commodore included, but the soldiers on the other end growled and one of them even gave a mocking salute. Altieri walked over to the comms officer and then commented, "Next time, replace slaves with Captain's Servants." The witty crewman then giggled and gave out a quick yes sir.
Inside the Soldiers Quarters, the eight people then immediately got to work, zipping their undershirts properly and slipping on the nanosuits they got so used to wearing - the nanosuits, of course, were made of extremely hard materials such as graphene, not very easy to rip apart considering the latest nano-materials techniques were highly refined. The next thing they put on was their armor, while the nanosuits were very capable of protecting a police officer, these men were soldiers, and thus they needed to be better protected, so the armor was made of several materials such as light sheets of titanium, more graphene and other sorts of things.
The soldiers said nothing, they were professionals, however some of them were angered by the fact that the Comms officer was being... oh, maybe a bit way too casual, however they paid no mind, and they continued grabbing their standard equipment, before heading out, walking out of the automated doors with their rifles and taking the ride to cargo bay one, the ship was large and the designers wanted to minimize time taken to get from point A to B.
Upon reaching shuttle bay three, non-coincidentally the closest bay to the soldiers, they stepped into the large ITV - a rather large, overblown shuttle, and it's hatch closed, the ventral thrusters lifted it off, small bursts of plasma coming into contact with the heat-resistant floor, and then the maneuvering thrusters turned the ITV around and it exited the hangar bay, the ship's fast computers logging the departure of the shuttle, and then four small Buzzer fighters came out of Hangar Bay One, and they formed a triangle formation around the Interplanetary Transport Vehicle - well, more like interstellar, since it had it's own short-ranged drive, and they all descended down and then started hovering at around fifty meters from the surface, searching the area for a spot to cut a hole in or land on...
