Oh I also found how to make the volt disrupter pierce shields like the electro bolt

if you sub in

Type = PenetratingHit
PhysicsComponent = Physics
PenetratesShields = true
EffectScalePerHit = 0.66

into the Volt disruptors hit code it will behave identically to the new electro bolts

I actually tried that exact same thing, and my game kept crashing on startup until I reverted it.

Meranera delete "EffectScalePerHit = 0.66" and it will work

also weapon idea no clue for a name but its a concept don't hate if you cant do it a weapon with energy and bullets required, it pierces, and explodes at the end kinda like a fire work.

It is compatible; either something is wrong on your end, or you're doing something wrong.

Just use the in-game installer and it should work fine.
If it doesn't, simply remove it from the mods folder.

Meranera Really its exactly what I pasted into the volt disruptor code and it works fine

weapon idea- multiple railgun system
basicily has like 4 or 6 tiny railguns that if one shots the other shoot then so on until the last one fires and the cooldown time is exact so that if the last one fires the first one is ready to fire again and makes it have continuous fire , these railguns guns can penetrate armor but it doesnt have high dmg but the fire rate makes up for it, uses alot of batteries but it consumes a small amount of power from the batteries but it can only operate when all 4 or 6 batteries are placed

          maybe you could look into the coding for the 3500mm Quad Artillery Cannon (Capital Ships Weaponry)? i know it's out of date, but maybe it could give you pointers on how to do it? I dont know
