I just finished this project earlier today, some input would be great if you want to test it out here is how:

  1. Install mod by extracting the zip file to your .../Cosmoteer/Mods/ directory, in that folder should now be a folder called "NuclearMissleMod" If that is there than proceed to step 2

  2. Launch game, and start a new game/load an old save. *I would advise backing up save files before installing any mods.

  3. It works just like regular missile systems, but you need to use all of the nuclear parts, which are about 2x more powerful but around 2-3 times more expensive.

Hope you enjoy! Let me know if anyone wants anything specific when it comes to modmaking. I have quite enjoyed how simple (ish) it is to make mods for Cosmoteer.

good job, might i suggest custom particles the explosions look like just normal HE effects. [ tweak the flash and blast on paint or something, your call man.]

thekadescast the more cannons mod (i forgot the full name) already has a nuclear missile cannon, so this mod is pretty much useless.

Really enjoyed this mod, was a lot of fun to create fast cruisers with nukes and have them fight anti-rocket ships.

SixtyToZero Gotcha, duly noted I'll work on adding some custom particles/animations in, already worked on making the missiles more noticeable compared to the normal missiles.

    thekadescast i have a challenge for you, try to make wasd controlled missiles

      thekadescast Have you tried making miniature missiles that only require 1 missile part? i'd love to see that for my smaller designs
