Athorian-I
Athorian-II
Athorian.alt
The blueprints for the 'Athorian' have been found in old notes from former Supreme-Commander Crimson (currently m.i.a.), it seems to be a multi-purpose frame, though the original 'Athorian' had been designed as support frigate, equipped with electro-disruptors and EP-Missiles (energetic-particle) it was meant to help taking out heavily shielded targets, however in bigger groups they could also serve for bringing down planetary shields. There seem to be several variants, one with forward and one with backward facing missile tubes(Athorian-II), however due to the fact that all weapon slots are apparently designed partially modular other variants are also possible as shown with third contained blueprint, which is equipped with heavy laserblasters and standartized HE-missile launchers (Athorian.alt).
Gregory-class Minelayer
The Gregory-class minelayer was a ship originially designed before the time of the great wars and was used in preparation of, or during planetary sieges, on either side, during the time of the EL-wars and the great traversal, the ship had been decommisioned, as it was mostly useless against the Ever Legion and the frames and other systems had been used on other ships instead. With the restructuring of the navy, the old blueprints have catched new attention and with an overhaul of the internal systems and new payloads the ships have been taken back into active service.
The ship itself is during an active battle relatively useless, however in ambushes and preparation for sieges even only a few of these ships are able to quickly deploy vast fields of mines and have earned their place in the Solaric support fleet in this way. While it´s defenses are underwhelming, it is highly manouverable, well-capable of moving through it´s own minefields even after deployment.
Pallax-class siege-breaker
The Pallax-class row of ships was made by an ex-outpost commander from the Solaric colonies, the ship was based on a tale where a small ship made it alive out of an battle by shoving the sawed off front of a heavy cruiser infront of it and using it as shield against the incoming fire.
The ship has heavy frontal armor and shielding and is meant to charge by enemy lines, or through them if necessary and then release it´s payload from the backward facing launchers, the payload and projectiles are variable, reaching from missiles, over mines, to torpedos of various kinds.
The main engines of the ship have a boost function which can either help with reaching the target or quickly getting out of danger.
"Frankenstein"-class PD-support ship
The 'Frankenstein'-class has it´s name, rather obviously, from it´s unusual shape, the ship has been made by a ship designer which saw flaws in the point defense systems of some of the larger Solaric Battleships and Dreadnoughts.
The ship itself is effectively a moving point-defense platform, it is cheap to produce and effective, if used right, while one side is equipped with heavy flak-arrays and smaller point defense the other side has been equipped with additional engines for better manouverbility, the one-sidedness of the ships comes from it´s location within battle, it is usually operating behind the heavy shields of dreadnoughts, spacestations, or planetary shielding and therefor faces the enemy with only one side at most times, another side-effect was that the ship is unshielded, which is again compansated by usually sitting behind the shield of heavier craft.
