It looks at Nurian, then at the devices, it shakes one wing, perhaps to try and shake them off, and seems to notice how light it feels, it stands on it's hind legs, beating it's wings, and slowly rises, landing on the roof, for the first time since he has seen it, it opens it's mouth, a sound like a the roar of a lion played on a gramophone echoing down a long copper pipe emanating from it's mouth, it shakes itself, seemingly much quicker too since the addition of the plates, and swoops back down to street level, skidding on the cobbles, it struts to a position beside Nurian, and something odd appears to happen, colour rushes into the statue, feathers bursting from rock, fur sprouting from granite, the hole in it's forehead dissapearing, and it rears again, roaring with full voice this time, then it lands on all fours, and lowers it's front legs until it is "Bowing" before Nurian, ceasing movement, it waits.

The two Mer-children run into the room, the one with the stick drops it, and claps its hands, they are both grinning, the shy one flaps it's arms and chuckles, obviously amused at the effect the shadows make on the walls.

There is a hissing, and the rain resumes, cool droplets splashing on the ground, the ominous fog retreating like the dark before the dawn, this rain however feels almost comforting, and refreshing. Nurian can smell a smell of growing, like fresh grass on the wind, and Duro is astonished, as he sees young shoots breaking through the mud in the clearing that were surely not there when they arrived, in the distance the jungle creatures resume their noise that they stopped during the wolf attack, and a warm wind caresses the trees and runs up the streets of Zagt...
