Jasper folds his paper and stands, walking over to him and placing a hand on his shoulder before quickly drawing it away, sucking his burned fingers.

He rummages in a stack of boxes behind the counter, interestingly they seem to be made of card, he nods.
"Aye, tus a strange time an' nae mistak, the las' order I'sn put in tae Gostk nuvver got here. I'sn heard tell thut there be trouble wi' the mer, they'n ben forced oot the water. I'sn waudn't hae let em oan land if'n I'sn wus the mayor o' Gostck, filthy creatures."
He pulls a longcoat out of one of the boxes and shakes it, holding it up, it is fine black velvet, though it looks odd, and has a silver buckle around the waist, he lays it on the counter.
"Whut daes yae thenk yersel'? Yae cannae trust them abhumans, thut's whut I say."
He pulls another coat from the boxes, this one is brown animal hide, and has brass buttons, with twin tails at the back like on a military dress coat.
