Sam flits away after the Doctor, disappearing through the wall, the security man sheaths his sword.
"Ah sorry, I thought ye were with the madman there, did he pinch my keys?"
He squints at them.
"Those are some odd scars ye have there, is it a birthmark or something? If ye don't mind me asking o'course."
He picks up a hand bell off the desk and rings it loudly, soon two figures appear, both in black coats and wearing top hats.
"That damn Earhart was here again, ye'd better inform the Sargeant."
"Aye"
The figures doff their hats at Heinrich and Lagertha, then sprint out into the street.

"You are most welcome sir."
Cecil stands and bows, then sits again.
Nurian finds North street easily, and proceeds along it, there is no one visible, and he finds it hard to tell which house would be the right one.

They walk out, Jasper grabbing his raincape, and find an ox drawn cab waiting outside, Jasper opens the door, and climbs in, holding it open for the Ambassador, once they are both inside he raps on the roof with his cane and the cab starts to rumble off down the gravel drive.

"'Tis is a strange mark zhat- that has been going through my entire families' history. We never found out what it means or where it came from. Maybe one day..."
He's playing the role of a worried father exceptionally well, considering he's inside as numb as a rotten tree stump...

Nurian takes out the map a looks at it for a while, should the location of Mrs. Winderlys´ house be noted there as it was technically one of the 'incidents' he will head there, otherwise he´d wander to the first house in sight and knock there...

The Ambassador, cloaked, though hardly to any affair, stares melancholically out of the cab, before asking Jasper where he's headed.

"Odd, most odd. Well, I will be here if you need me, please do not let me detain you, the mourner is a sad role."
He sits back in his chair, leaning the sword against the desk.

There is no mark, and so he walks to the door of the house nearest, knocking. Shortly there is the sound of unbolting, and a small, wrinkly man pokes his head out, looking at Nurian with a worried expression.
"G'maern tae yae sur, whut caen I dae fer yae?"

"Oh, things to do y'know, things to do. I've got to speak to some people about getting a wall up, we don't want those wolves coming into the town."
The coach rattles down the hill, and toward the seafront, it stops at the town centre, and Jasper gets out.
"I must leave you here I am afraid, but the cabby will take you the rest of the way, good luck."
He slams to door, and the cab continues, eventually drawing up outside a large baroque building on the seafront, waves crash against the sea wall beside them, and seabirds wheel and trill overhead, small fishing boats bobbing up and down on the waves out in the harbour.
"This is the "Palace", sir, your stop."

The Ambassador rushes out of the cab, observent of the palace, to him "Mer-king" sounded much less decorated, let alone with that ammount of adornations in gold, but he wouldn't care, for questioning the architectural choices of the people are the least concern to him. He enters the palace, non-chalantly.

Nurian nodded, according to the so far gathered experience, toning down accent might be advisable...
"Good morn´n to you too sir, do ya know where Mrs. Winderson lives? She helped me a bunch a few months ago, but I didn´t have th´ opportunity to thank her yet." Nurian looked at the man with a friendly look on his face...

He looks back at Johns corpse..
"Well, we best get going, do you know how long the bodies stay fresh in here? Its for planning the burial."

The "Palace" appears to be an old fishery, with a statue of a brass cod the only "Adornation" visible, the building is sandstone, but has iron and brass filigree, the iron much rusted, decorating the facade. Two figures stand by the door, and their apearence is unusual, they are adorned in bronze armour, with three pronged spears grasped in their hands, their skin appears to be scaly like that of a fish, and they are a light silver in skin colour, shading to red. They posess fins on their arms at the elbows, and either side of their head, though this may be more of a natural display than a useful evolution, and their feet are bare, large flippers, the tows webbed. Their faces bear no nose to speak of, and their mouths are agape, lined with many sharp teeth. One of the guards turns huge, rather mesmerizing yellow eyes toward him and speaks, it's voice melodic.
"Greetings, thou art the one Lord Pierson hath sent?"

Velkas glances up. "I'll have whatever the kitchen's cooking for food, and a mug of ale, and the same for my friends here."

After the barkeeper leaves, she leans back. "Well I need to go to the town jeweler and get some of the local currency. She'la would you like to come with me? Blak and Toret can go meet up with Nurian and see what he's learned."

"Sure! I haven't had a chance to look round the town yet."
Shortly plates emerge from the kitchen, their rather greasy contents being proffered to them.

"I'sn thank yaes mean Winderly sur, she'n jus lives twae hooses upon th' left."
He smiles nervously.
"I'sn gut tae gae now sur, get oan wi' me weaving, I haep I hulped."

"Oh they'll stay good for about a week I'd say, that's when either the families hold the services or we hold one ourselves if no one has claimed the body."

Heinrich nods to him..
"We best be going, still have to talk to his wife. Thanks for shooing away that weirdo, he just rudely showed up as we payed our condolences.."

"Thank ya good man an´ yes you´ve been a great help." He nodded again, and headed off to the house two on left and stated knocking, looking up to sky a few moments as if checking for the clouds, though in fact looking wether the man has went back into his house...

Velkas flinches a bit, but chows down anywat, while Toret merely eats the food without complaint, consuming mug after mug after mug...after mug...after...mug...

(Character Effect - Toret is VERY drunk. Reflexes and perception -50%, lasts for one day)

After finishing the food, Velkas goes to grab her cloak and jewels and heads out with the others for the trip.

He trails off, looking thoughtful.
"Wait a minute, if you got here first, how did you get in?"
He reaches for the sword again, standing and looking at the two with suspicion.

"The guard over there left the door unlocked and we decided to let him sleep, because we didn't have to wake him.."

"I never leaves the vaults unlocked, and I locked it yesterday when the Sargeant brought the cadavers in, acase someone tried to defile the bodies."

The Merman nods his head, and turns, opening the door, and walking inside, the corridor is dark, and in an advanced state of disrepair, there are two mermen in clothes that look very like they are made of some sort of fibrous weed, sweeping up masonry dust. The guard leads him up a flight of dusty stairs and to a door, knocking.
"Come in."
The guard opens the door inward, bowing so that his head almost touches the floor.
"Oh revered one there is one who wishes to speak with you."
"Ah yes, please, enter."
The guard stands up, and motions The Ambassador forward, the room he walks into is almost clean, and has been draped about with cloths of the same material that the Mer people downstairs were wearing, there are no furnishings except for a wooden throne, made from, it seems, driftwood, there are two guards , one standing either side of the throne, and upon the throne sits the Mer King.
Who appears to be female, for one thing, and does not look particularly regal. She is a young Mer, possibly twenty or thereabouts, and is clad in a white robe and small bronze crown which is little more than a ring of metal, her eyes are a deep blue, startlingly different to the yellow of the other Mer, and her mouth dainty, compared to the wide slits of the other Mermen, gaping at him. She smiles, and the effect is mesmerizing, almost hypnotic, he feels that it is the first genuine smile he has seen since coming to this planet, and he feels oddly weary, the smile and the large blue pools of the eyes like a flame at the end of a tunnel...
He shakes himself, the sensation was odd, and unpleasant, but appears to have gone, though what it was is unknown to him.

The man is still staring at Nurian with a worried look, but turns and closes the door promptly. There is no answer to his knocking however, Mrs Winderly appears to be out.

" Well, 'twas open when we came here. Dunno where that leads ya, but I guess that weirdo came in twice or something."
Heinrich shrugs...
"Either way, not my problem. Can we leave now?"

Lagertha looks over..
"I reeeaaallllyyy need to get to a toilet..."

...Nurian frowns, then shrugs and leaves north street for now, instead heading to the shop from the day before without hurry.
As he entered he knocked on the the door and then looked around...
"Oi, I´m back, are ya there good lady?"

Firstly, The Ambassador uncloaks himself to reveal his true nature, however, his guard is still down, he feels like it concurs no danger in being in such a place, although what he is about to say would install fear even into the heart of the royalty of the planet, he begins:

"I have come from distant lands, I have been to a thousand words, most call me "Ambassador", but the truth of who I am is hidden even to me. However, my powers are well known to myself, what most people refer to as "psychic" is just another form of energy, thus, it is maleable, and able to be turned into multiple forms of work, from the generation of movement to the alteration of the mind.
However!
I was far, far away, close to the center of the galaxy that his planet inhabits, and to much of my dismay I was hit by a wave of this energy, emanating from this world, strong enough for me to detect its location, it has come to my knowledge, in my way to this world, that such a wave has left scars across many worlds in the galaxy, thusly, attracting the eyes of many powerful beings to this place.
I, as an entity that bears the powers of psychic energy, know the dangers that anyone near concurs, and as such, have come here to deal with the problem accordingly, and I ask you, royalty, if you have any information, any leads as to what may have caused this huge wave of psychic energy to come from such a lonely planet."
