I may be late to the discussion, but an issue I had with the turning lay in that the engines will not "spool" down in order to even out the distribution of thrust when moving forward.
In large ships with multiple huge thrusters, going forward is a pain because of how if even one huge thruster momentary spools down, while a thruster on the other side stays fully active, the whole system is thrown off balance.
I'm not sure how to fix this, but perhaps link the spooling of the thrusters with each other so that thrusters spool at the same rate together.
A small issue I have with turning is how inflexible it is. If per-say I was holding down W and D, the ship will begin to rotate with small, if any regard, to moving forward. I would like an option where, holding down two buttons will evoke 50% of each buttons assigned thrusters.
All in all, everything's mostly great. This was a great update.
