More of a symbol than actual combat vessel, the Extinguisher-class serves as the command ship of an entire conquest Armada, displaying the sheer might of the Darkstar navy. In reality, few of these ships have ever seen combat as their size usually intimidates the enemy into surrendering and many in the admiralty are concerned about its slow speed in an actual engagement.
Side note: 71,000 Tonnes is roughly equivalent to the size of the Yamato Class battleships in WW2, the largest battleships to be constructed.
