The Battlecruiser line is the mainline series of ships in the C.C.E. Produced by a joint manufacturing of Man & Machine Corp and The 4th Johnstons Corporation, these ships have been known to be reliable and durable. The history of these ships will be presented, and in chronological order.
The Ghajak Corp Era
Battlecruiser T.A.N.K. Tar
This ship was the first ever in the line. While the ship was poorly constructed and rushed, it's later model did better in conflicts. It's crude design saw multiple battles, going into retirement after it's 20th battle in the Lilac War.Battlecruiser T.A.N.K. Tar 2
This ship was made in a transitional time, where the manufacturing was split. While being wide for the weaponry it carried, it was shielded nicely at the front, as well as armored.Armored U.P.
This ship was the first to use the line's now common dark greys. It was also the first to use missiles, as they were found on old enemy ships. This ship was tough, and was the first in the line to be called "Durable". While crude , As the companies were still finding their footing, it was a step in the right direction. It was in at least 18 battles, spreading from the Lilac War to the Ghajak Crisis.
The Duo Era
Battlecruiser T.A.N.K. Tar S.L.I.M.
This Ship was a better model compared to it's predecessor, being cheaper and more well-rounded. While it did lose sensor systems and a rear gunner, it more greatly overpassed the original, having better armor and shielding. It was the first to have been developed after the Ghajak Crisis of 47 B.C.A.Armored U.P. S.L.I.M.
This ship in the line was simply an updated version of it's predecessor, having very little else changed. However, the the next version would come out after only a year.Armored U.P. .2 and 2
While being developed at the same time, .02 came out sooner then the other. The later version was loved for more armor and defense, but the earlier version was more offensive, but just barely. This was the most mass-produced of the line until the 4th Johnston Era, where they were both discontinued and retired. However, they have been recognized as the first ships to use two command centers.
7.Armored Cruiser "Winter Bunker"
This, like the Battlecruiser T.A.N.K. Tar 2, was in a trasitional phase, and was the last ship in the Duo Era. It was undergunned but armored well. It was the first in the line to have separate engine compartments. The name came from the new metals and minerals found on planets. These planets, known as 0 Degree Planets, are extremely cold, and crew have to create stations suitable for the planet in space and drop them on the surface.
4th Johnston Era
8.Battlecruiser "Avalanche"
Being the first battlecruiser in the line, this ship became the workhorse and a mainstay of the fleet. It has partaken in at least 50 battles, from everything from the Gillgax Invasion to the Surface Massacre of 90 B.C.A. It's 2 Mrk 5 Engines allowed for great turning. While still in operation, this old ship is now reserved for large scouting missions.
Rare blueprint of first design, later scrapped due to low quality
- Battlecruiser Armored
This ship was the main ship of the fleet until 56 B.C.A., and it has been recognized as one of the best ships created by the manufacturing company. Tough, durable, and hard-hitting, this ship became the company's propaganda machine. However, it was created in the Galactic Depression, and this means it was created with scrap sensors, which allowed some ships to detect scrap piles or junk fields in space. These were reformatted to be powerful Ship Scanners in conflict. It was in 38 battles before finally being retired in 75 B.C.A.
10. Battlecruiser Armored A.
This was the first of the line to be considered a "flop" ship. While powerful, it was too large for the low amount of weaponry. It's engines were barely better then the older model, and was considered a flop. It was the first ship to have 4 control rooms and railguns, though people hate to talk about it. Its older model was considered much better, but the newer model would take to the stage of progress and mop the floor with this ship.
11.Battlecruiser Armored A.D.
This ship was the most ambitious of the entire line at this point. This large ship would include but not limited to; 4 Barrel Flak cannons, Aggressive Point Defense, Extra Engine power, new frame, new Engine Frame, and Minelayers. This and more was pulled off to a great success. This new version could tank multiple railgun fire and dish some back, making it the most combat-ready version of the ship. While big, it could take on fast fighters and such. It has been reported to have been in 70 battles, so it is also the most combat-experienced.
12.Battlecruiser Armored X.L.V. 50
The newest in the line and the series, this version builds upon the old design with more thrusters and better shields. It is the first in the line to include armored internal thrusters. It has no known combat experience.
