MOD: Adds more ships and a 3 ship 'Boss Fleet' to each planet.

Lets get to the goods,

Description = "Adds more ships and a 3 ship 'Boss Fleet' to each planet.
WARNING: Your computer may not be able to handle This Many Ships in orbit! Use with caution!

If you encounter a ship beginning with a number between 10-15, you have encountered the fleet and you will not get your reward until all 3 ships in the fleet are destroyed. The fleet ships always stay very close together.

    When travelling by FTL engine sometimes it doesn't show my ship and others. It's bug like in your other mod 3X 4X 8X. 2 X seems to be working.

      SzaryKaptur I'm not sure what is causing this bug - at first I THOUGHT that it was that if you added ships to bounty hunter mode using AddMore it would cause this glitch if you entered a sector with any of the added ships.

      If just adding more ships to one sector is causing it too, I'm kinda confused to what the reason must be. Clearly it's editing the bounty hunter file, though.

        Is there a way to make the boss fleet only in vanguard, or a higher difficulty? or is it already this way?

          minetech48 It is possible if you're asking what I think you're asking, are you saying you only want boss fleets in vanguard to be Vanguard-class? or lower-class but in a fleet?

            One thing to keep in mind is that when FTLing into a new planet the game auto generates part of the file and this can take some time, but it should never take more than 20 seconds, but its definitely not instantly. I don't know if the amount of time it takes is effected by RAM, CPU or Hard Drive speed.

            I have personally tested FTLing into into each tier of planet at least 10 times and it has never failed, but I have 32gigs of RAM and an SSD.

            If you are still having trouble FTLing into a new planet and its taking longer than 15-20 seconds to arrive I can make changes to the MOD.

            If you don't mind taking into account what I wrote above, if you are still having troubles arriving into new planets would you let me know how much RAM your system has and if its a laptop? ( Laptops generally have slower hard drives ) This information could help me understand whats causing this.

            I mainly only do overrides to the bounty mode.txt which is what makes this MOD possible. I do add 'ships' and also do 2 overrides to ai.txt as well for full disclosure.

            I could release a version that leaves all tiers in tact (no fleets ) except the Vanguard systems upon further request.

              I have 16 Gb or ram , I5 processor and Geforce GTX 950 Windows 10 PC Disc SSD 1TB.Clearly I don't know if its your mod's fault or it's just a bug. Sorry for my language. Writing it from Poland. I just want to help you and myself.

                    Well... This looks like a challenge for my fleet... They appear strong... No matter, my Centurion will rip them apart, as easy as it does every other ship. Muhahahahahhahaha... Cough Damnit, I can never do the evil laugh.

                      I have extensively tested this and have not had any issues warping into planets of any tier. If you have any troubles

                      with the mod, please tell me what tier planet you were warping into.

                        Hey TMP, how did you create the multi-ship blueprints?

                        EDIT: Nvm, figured it out.

                        Glad you figured it out,

                        For anyone else interested, to create a multi ship blueprint, first create the ships you want to be in the 'Fleet' and save them.

                        1: Start a new Creative game and spawn in the ships you want to be part of your fleet, with the main ship spawned in a bit further away. ( to make sure there is room around the ship )

                        2: For one of the ships you want to add to the 'Fleet' select the ship and edit it, use the copy/paste tool in the ship editor and copy the whole ship, and close the ship editor.

                        3: Open the ship you spawned a bit further away in the editor and in blueprint mode use the copy/paste tool again and paste the ship and place it where you want in the grid.

                        You will NOT be able to make it so as its not a valid design, but it will be able to be saved as a blueprint.

                        4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the 'Fleet' is complete and save the design as a blue print.

                        Thats pretty much all there is to it.

                        If you would like to submit more 'Fleets' to the mod please feel free and I may add them to the mod, but please follow the guidelines below.

                        Here are the 'Fleet Designs' specifications:

                        Please name your ship beginning with the tier your submission is for, and you can include your name in the design for credit. ( please do not make the name too long ) Ex: 10_yournamehere_whateverHere.ship.png

                        Please make your fleets no smaller than 3 ships and no more than 5 ships.

                        Tier 10 - Starting node, this is only used 1 time per new game

                        Price range: 165,000â‚¡ give or take 10%

                        Tier 11 - Amateur node

                        Price range: 250,000â‚¡ give or take 10%

                        Tier 12 - Professional node

                        Price range: 375,000â‚¡ give or take 10%

                        Tier 13 - Veteran node

                        Price range: 825,000â‚¡ give or take 10%

                        Tier 14 - Elite node

                        Price range: 1,200,000â‚¡ give or take 10%

                        Tier 15 - Vanguard node

                        Price range: 3,000,000â‚¡ give or take 10%

                        If your submission is more or less than the 10% don't worry about it as long as its not too much, but I will be valuing the bounty at the above amounts.

                        I would love to have some custom fleets in the mod.
