If I fly my nuke rammer into the damaged portion of the Bismarck, would it work?

LeftHandofGod Because wasting your recources by fireing bording pods at a shielded and armed ship is that much better... No matter how you progress, blockading the ship obviously has priority now. (Just realised the Bismarck also has mines to block off the boarding pods. Also realised I'm supposed to support Boombox, not his enemies... Nah, it's too late now anyways!) Guess FTL-ramming something in the engines after weakening the shields might be a considerable tactic too, it would certainly turn it into a sitting duck and give the attackers more freedom until reinforcements arrive.

Bruce0206 Nope, you won't get your ship close enough before it gets torn apart by the enemies weapons. And even if you somehow got close enough, the damage caused by that action would be insignificant.

Spotting the carrier, the fighters and corvettes that were docked inside the Bismark swirl out and damage it's engines before retreating into the Bismark again...

A badly damaged cargo ship jumps out of hyperspace, with it's cargo of microwave pizzas pouring out of it's hull. There doesn't seem to be any life on the ship.

It's reactor looks like it's intact.

EDIT: All the pizza has been eaten by the Divine Entity.

Bruce0206 The divine entity nearby goes to the small, damaged craft and eats all the pizza. Yum.

That was a violation of the contract, so the entity vanishes and goes to pay fines in entity credits.

The Bismarcks engine is finally hit, though not critically, it slows it down just a bit..
(You wont be able to stop it that way since its main propulsion is all the way inside with antigravity generators..)

The FlaK cannons unleash hell on the drop pods, taking no chances. Of the hundreds of pods only a handful make it through, and as they enter they are greeted by a hail of cannon, heavy machinegun and small arms fire. Some soldiers even ran inside the pods with mortar shells, blowing them up...

It seems the Bismarck learned its boarding lesson..

(the rear shields got knocked out for a few seconds, meaning a few shells got through and damaged a part of the engines, but the shield generators still are intact and got the shield up and running 3-5 seconds later again..)

The Bismarck reaches the Scharnhorst and throws out several large towing hooks, which clamp onto it. Bismarck does not even stop, simply steaming past the Scharnhorst and pulling it with it....

(Not that much actually, its FTL is knocked out and it has slight engine problems, but lets be real here, a 10-15km long dreadnought doesnt die so easily)

ComradeShiba Who says you can't warp in? One of the whole points of Interdiction is to prevent enemies from escaping, not from preventing people from getting in but in some cases.
