The USS Dammit
Captain's Log: Chief Nuclear Officer, Biff Curry , Acting Captain
Star Date: 201904.24
This once nuclear torpedo module was christened The USS Dammit today at 0800, after the crew and I were able to retrofit some spare thrusters Private Pete had hidden away in his locker, ...along with a half eaten Milky War chocolate bar, and a paperback copy of Gone With The Wind... I didn't ask any questions, we were just glad to have the provisions. Being blown off our main battle cruiser just days ago, and drifting helplessly in space, it was a miracle we scrounged enough parts to put in some working control room. While the thrusters are capable of making runs on some ships, they provide little chance against a faster ship at the moment. With our only hope resting on our exposed nuclear warhead tipped missile, it is critical we hit fast and tact to reload if we miss, ...a strategy we have trained almost our whole lives for.
We can produce some capable point defense lasers out of some burned and rusted steel tubing from framework, but with the scarcity of an available spaceport leaves us little option but to rely the nuclear torpedoes and manufacturing as our primary weapon system. Hopefully with a few bounties bagged we can salvage the wreckage for the parts we need to get The USS Dammit somewhat fully functional and get our crew back home in one piece... if not fully radiated.
Note to Systems Personnel: The flimsy yellow hazmat suits are not helping.
Scenario - Use the ship design above and start a tiny galaxy and play either on Captain or Admiral level and get as far as you can using the rules below.

It was not an easy task, but the crew and I were able to clear out the amateur class planets within our solar system. Along the way we were able to grab enough parts and pieces from space junk to put together more torpedo launchers and torpedo storage rooms to give our USS Dammit more punch. We still have about 48,000 credits still left over, and we'll have to start hitting the bigger boys soon... the crew and I are at odds about which way to go from here...
