The new Anti-faction I've been doing (The Ancient Warmongers) s getting better fleet numbers (ones that make sense...I think).
Anyways, On to the ships! Please note each one should have and Roleplay/historical value!
CAPITAL SHIPS
The Golaith-Class Battlecruiser
The mainline battle-cruiser, this ship is a well-rounded vessel, capable of taking on ships like the Venator, or ones with similar firepower. However, the C.C.E. Started using Imperial 1s and 2s against them, and their firepower destroyed the ships relatively fast.
The Ogami-Class Battlecruiser
This cruiser was designed to try and barrage the enemy, using Ogami Broadside Cannons (OBCs). These ships were a side-grade of sorts. The main OBCs could shred armor and Shields alike, but the cannons were so large the main ship's firepower was decreased to make room.
The Mammoth-Class Battlecruiser
This is the biggest Battlecruiser in the line that we know of. It's larger assortment of weapons along with improved frontal lasers and railguns, allow it to take on Imperial 1s And 2s. Its missile assortment is also greater, having special AP/HE Missiles and torpedoes. These (Hydra) Missiles are slow, but pack a punch. The Torpedoes are mounted on the broadside, but they pack enough firepower and speed to catch up to fleeing fighters.
Cruisers
Ryloth-Class Cruiser
Being the only cruiser in the line, it's the main workhorse of the entire fleet. The "Hydra" missiles are well-suited for this ship, as well as it's double-heavy shield Generators. While having a slightly bigger design then the destroyers and frigates, it's intended role is to be a ship escort. It has been spotted rarely, meaning it could be anywhere.
Frigates
"Tjorn"
This Heavy Frigate is extremely powerful, able to pound heavy gunships to the ground. It's simple frame allows for multiple modifications. This Modified design is the Heavy Laser Frigate, but There have been reports of 15 variants across the fleet. The name "Tjorn" comes from the General 'Klon Tjorn' , who was known to implement tactics never before seen. Like it's name, the Heavy Laser Frigate uses revolutionary cannons, known as 'Turrets'. This is the first they've been used on a ship in the fleet.
"For-Gone"
Similar to "Tjorn", This is a variant of the Heavy Frigate. However, This ship has an Extremely powerful array of missiles, like the AP/HE missile and torpedo, so it is known as a Heavy Missile Frigate. While the "Tjorn" Uses missiles, it uses less powerful ones, as well as limiting the torpedoes to a frontal barrage. The "For-gone" however, uses the torpedoes and missiles it has to do a powerful Alpha Strike against a target. It's main purpose is to destroy fighter craft, outposts, and medical stations/ Craft. Its machine guns allow for anti-fighter roles, as well as shield disablers. The "For-gone" can go underwater, which allows it to fight underwater battles. This allows the torpedoes to move at a slower speed, making them able to turn.
Gunships
Druf-Class Gunship
This Gunship is extremely strong, capable of going up against fighters, bombers, infantry, ect. It's shields can withstand anything short of an turbolaser. While it's size makes it easier to lock-on missiles, its point defense cannons can destroy them. It's Torpedoes pack a punch, but can also carry bombs for ground invasions. Its 4 medium burst-fire laser cannons pelt fighters, but also act as anti-fighter turrets trying to flank. It's weakness is just simply sparse armor.
B-H-V-1
This Gunship could also be considered a gunboat, as its large 144-missile/or Bomb Payload is quite terrifying. The B-H-V-1 is a powerful gunship, using, as mentioned before, 2 72-Missile Launchers. It's missiles can be traded for different variants of bombs, as its payload is very open to work with. Its got Incendiary, Frag, Plasma, Nuclear (Only dire, as it would destroy the gunship.) and High Explosive (Most common). This gunship ,however, lacks any point-defense laser cannons, but instead shields and high armor. It can take out a small capital ship or frigate, but would most likely require many of them or a suicide run with nuclear.
B-H-V-2
This gunship is a mix of both of the previous designs, and has a powerful missile payload. Its missile payload carries 6 "Hydra" missiles and 6 Torpedoes, allowing it to destroy heavily armoured or shielded vessels. While it can take on CR90 Corvettes, it's size is a major flaw. Its 6 Laser cannons are extremely deadly against other fighters, and are great for taking on enemy ground bases and heavy armor divisions.
Forg-Class Gunship
This gunship is the smallest of the class, but is multi-purpose. It's small size will confuse any gunship targeting computers, as it will confuse it for a fighter. Its machine guns and missiles are quite strong for their size, making them excellent for taking down lightly gunned ships or ground invasions. Their shields are quite strong, but their recharge is poor. But it's credit per mass is excellent, only second to the B-H-V-1 and 2 gunships.*
Fighters
Folga-Class Fighter
This fighter is relatively over-gunned. It's shields are constantly underpowered, but this fighter is great for taking on those speedsters.
Fergth-Class Fighter
This fighter was created from the same branch as the Folga, but is a scaled down B-H-V-2. It's small frame allow for it to be a great interceptor and recon ship. However, it has little armor, having just 1 armor piece.
Hughes-Class Fighter
Made from a rival branch of manufacturing to the Fergth and Folga, The Hughes is a Heavy Fighter, using 2 Medium Laser Cannons. It's cockpit is a controversial topic for pilots of the craft. One side says it's too obvious a target, while others say it allows for better angles then the normal cockpit. The fighter is the best pound for credit, able to go up against ships likenthe Y-Wing, X-Wing, A-Wing, and B-Wings with ease, even able to go up against ARC-170s, their hulls destroyed. It's low armor is it's downfall, but to compensate it's high maneuverability is great.
