I have only cleared two planets and am really low on money, this was the best I could really come up with. (A very small budget) Any optimization or ideas are more than welcome to this design.

Butterslingshot I think one reactor would be better, or if you choose to keep the second reactor, add an electrobolter to take out those enemy shields.

Also: add fire extinquishers unless you want to end as burned toast. 😉

Alpha I literally just noticed that, put em where those armor blocks are beside the control room, also I wanted to put electrobolts instead of lasers but couldn't afford them (But I can now so they will be those in a sec)

dafeeeeeeeeeesh Does it really matter if they are close, no matter where they are on this small ship both would explode

just finished off another planet so I did a bit of redesigning
Added a much better and sleek paint job to fit the ship ( I love aesthetics)

yeah but if you spaced it out it might at least surivive if one goes up in fire

dafeeeeeeeeeesh He's playing GiF, if that fighter's reactor goes boom, the enemy will make sure the other one will not survive much longer if not dead yet. Putting reactors too close to eachother is only viable in fighters and enormous ships that require many reactors close to eachother. In any other situation you're totally right.

you could move the middle thing back one and get 2 reactors working without chain reactions

Butterslingshot Sorry, but in this case assymetry would be better. Swap one electrobolter for a small laser, does more damage while shields go down at a reasonable speed.

im really bad at articulating my thoughts by middle thing i mean the middle sections front armor to back armor 1 back then you can fit a reactor core next to the ammo factorys

PS I hate ugly looking ships, I normally go for a grey paintjob and black and yellow for decals OR Yellow paint and Blue decals/ Grey Decals and Black decals. White and black (plus in between) fit every color and you can't go wrong with em

Butterslingshot Yeah, I really am annoyed when somebody plays bounty hunter with a plain white ship, at least give it a color & some stripes is my code. Except when designing a ship in creative & testing it, then I paint my ship after I consider it finished.

Alpha I do too, I am all about ships looking good and being functional (I do sort of a 30% Cool and %80 Functional compromise if I have to) Though I do give a ship a temporary paint job when testing in creative and normally scratch that one and make a permanent one after testing also after some tweaks,

Also decided instead of the standard thruster in the back to put large ones because I wa srunning into the problem where the enemy was too fast and just shot me to death from afar

dafeeeeeeeeeesh But why a reactor in the front of your ship? That seems way to easy to shoot down in this case.

it wouldent be exposed to any direct fire because it would still be inside the main bit of the ship and it has the armor still
