Evinstep is there to answer to Cyclone's suggestions:
"We'd be very grateful for any help we can get in rebuilding, mostly we'd want materials for repairs, you already know that most of the cities here are interconnected by subterranean lines, and we'd have to purify the whole atmosphere of the planet if we wanted to construct on the surface as well.
Don't you have to occupy your resources in repairing your ship, though? The feed does show the invaders using some kind of... laser? Perhaps a phononic beam... nevertheless, it appears that more than 70% of your ship was destroyed, I'd be worried."

The Musavian lays his back on his chair for a few seconds, scratching its "chin" as it swivels its chair facing away from the androids, and appreciates the scenic view of space and planet that the large window behind him offers. It seems to be thinking about the situation, evaluating its options as a representative of a non-military part of the M.I.S.E, more important, a part of what people'd refer to as "The Economist".
After a while he swivels the chair back around, and talks while organizing some of the papers on the table into folders, now that most of the deals are done.
"Well, I, directly, can't do anything about such anomaly. However, I will definetly present this interesting situation to my collegues, and surely we will soon have a meeting over the matter.

What I can say, though, is what I think will happen. First off, we will likely have a representative of the Iridestin over how to proceed, as it seems to be a matter of high importance, or at least that evokes great curiosity over many. In that meeting, it will be decided what parts will do what. Soon after, a series of tests will be conducted over the place where such an anomaly is located. Seismic readings, satellite imaging, only to cite a few. After that battery of tests is done and all of the locale is charted and documented, we can set up the proper infrastructure that is necessary for depth and cave exploration."
Listening to the Musavian talk was almost like listening to someone narrating the instruction of a medicine bottle, a sudden shift from the otherwise rather mundane form of speech, almost as if inside of him, he was reading off a book, a manual about how to do such a thing. Nevertheless, it was interesting, for the greyness on his skin showed his age, wisdom and experience, so what he said is indeed likely to be how it will proceed in the future.

The ship is kept docked outside of the station, in a place where, even if some kind of explosive is indeed triggered, it won't do harm to the station itself. Observation and readings on the ship are always kept at a constant, though it isn't meddled with, nor studied in a depth superior to superficial analysis by well-trained professionals.
The lizard, quite obviously taller than the captain, and stronger, seems to be slightly displeased about the answer. However, he does keep on questioning the captain, as other lizards standing behind a hidden glass pane to the room listen in, and try to connect hypothetical dots.
"So trespassing on military territory is a safe path? Rather questionable...
Who are the "Akyratés"? We find it surprising that you simultaneously know galactic standard, and are missing from our records. Look mate, answer this truthfully and we can get this whole ordeal over with, the less trouble to both of us, the better."
