(Well, kind of, all operations aren't done in a single charge but in separate charges so fast that it barely makes a difference, just a choice of operation though, could definetly be done in a single charge but it's more stressfull on the equipament [just so it doesn't seem like there's just a blob of anti-matter going at the enemy]. Now to the question at hand, yes, that's a good way of seeing it, but I wouldn't say it's truly a definite approach to it, as tonal manipulation deals more with energy rather than matter itself, so its more of anti-energy, especific to what you're targeting)
