megaboto so umm,there is a problem(actualy multiple ones): when i use this mod the game often crashes,
If the game crashes there should be log reports you can find within the "users\documents\My Games\Cosmoteer\logs\". It would be helpful to have a look at them along with a description on how things happen and what parts are involved
megaboto and certain parts(yes i read the description) do not work. so,well,i've startet bounty hunter,easy,selectet the slow armor ship with kinetic weapons,and played. got the new controll rooms,got their weapons and so on. well,the thing is that using that one drive for 100.000 that is supposed to be ftl compatible actualy didn't let me jump.
Looks like the game ignores the FTL component(s) of the part, hence, it never gets active, never gets charged and can't be activated. The problem was that an old toggle no longer exist for the game. Will be fixed in the next version.
megaboto also,getting this weird 2x2 computer(or whatever) which buffed my...side cannons or whatever(the long accurate energy weapon,green with part of it being enclosed,and the other(green)part being like some...pipes,of sort(am german,do not know how to describe them)) by 20% to something crashed my game shortly aferwards.
You mean the Disruptors BOP (bird of prey). Need the logs to tell me what's wrong.
megaboto using drones also does,and the pulse canon(i think)(that thing that shoots orange lasers,requires a lot of energy and is rather strong and very accurate,and can be built inside the ship while there are hull versions as well) shoots beams that travel around the ship in a circle,exept if given a hard target(a ship part,used asteroid). i do not know what is exactly wrong there,but i use the version which can be downloaded here. please look it up. thank you!
Not sure here. There seems to be multiple different cases and wildly different parts. Need to see the logs.
If you meant the roof top phaser beams don't visually hit that's just a beam bug of the game that been around forever. The part still gets hit and gets damaged just not visually connecting.
Asteroids can only be targeted if they are not friendly, see allegiance setting. The AI does not target anything that doesn't have military value (control room, weapons). For these cases manual targeting last only until the part is destroyed.
Also if you can't remember the part names just use the game's screenshot functions to save the internal build or blueprint. Or use normal screenshot functions (better to see the situation) or use the (free) Fraps tool.
