For those who wish answers, though you be few, here, I hope to give them.
For those of you who want to know the end of the story, I hope this satisfies you.
12:00pm Solaric time, Sector general hospital station, 3 years from present day. Major Kamen is standing at his office window, staring into the void. He applies the last seal to a brown paper package he holds, and places it on his desk. He smiles sadly, and walks to the door, outside Major Steele, Sergeant Jameson and Doctor Adams wait for him.
"Let us go gentlemen. I doubt Blak wishes to wait long."
They walk in silence to the shuttlebay, and leave, for the last time, before them lies a scene out of a fantasy, millions of Solaric ships, their Royal Purple and White brilliant in the light of ten suns, ten suns which hold in their orbits strands of brilliance.
Ringworlds.
Contents of parcel:
1 Vidrecord tape,

To whom it may concern, The enclosed is a historical record of that which happened to lead to the departing of the Solarics, and all the species that encompasses, from this galaxy, and indeed realm, as we know it. My successor, please take the following into account to fully carry out your job.
And finally, the contents of that tape.
Timeline of the final Solaric war, and the rise of the Third Solaric Empire.
---000--- Destruction of Second Solaric Empire by Ever Legion.
---001...
After the Destruction of the Solaric Empire, the remnants of the Solaric military were in tatters, homeless, hopeless, and for Solarics, Pride-less, which is a serious thing for a race that runs on the stuff. However, The efforts of Major Kamen managed to convince much of the old Solaric Navy to reform, and under the banner of the Hospital, they thrived for a while, but the Sols could not stay this way, for there was a debt to be payed.
The awakening of a clone Pieron by the TATC and an enterprising rogue EL mainframe called JETE only enhanced this force, especially when the Solarics were roused by the fact that the Clone Pieron found out that Commander Boze was not in fact dead, and the legacy of this living hero, now in EL clutches spurred the Solarics on to greater heights of bravery, and with the new EC force led by Piero, (The Pieron clone decided to call himself this to allow himself some personality.), the Solaric force became nigh on unstoppable.
After Two years of bitter fighting, the Solarics reached the heart of Mainframe Primary's domain, and, spearheading a force that fought to the core of Primary, Piero put his fist through Primary's Cortex, silencing the EL forever, and freeing the EC.
The Sols were free, their planets came out from under their protective Stasis Fields, and all was laughter and celebration, Commander Goldd never quite got over the losses he was forced to accept in that futile defence, but he suddenly found himself with more friends than he had ever had in his life, and happier than he had ever been.
Commander Blak continued to poke his nose into places he really shouldn't, and as a result, due to the growing relations between the Sols and the D'graf, was present on a diplomatic mission that almost ruined Sol-D'graf relations forever, as Blak became infatuated against all sanity with the D'graf Planetary King's Daughter, and just as alarmingly, she with him, and despite the protestations of practically everyone, due mainly to the fact of Blak's roboid nature, they managed to cause a major diplomatic incident by eloping together, in the end, due mainly to the fact that everyone was frankly too exhausted by the war to do anything else, the partnership was blessed, and Blak and Sh'ela could look forward to a life of presumably hitting things and being unpredictable together.
Commander Boze's crew eventually reunited with him, and served on his new "Overlord" class which he refused to upgrade from even after being given supreme commander status, however the troopers Sam Doolen-Hutz, Barqua, Jens, Marianus, and Spode, declined to rejoin the navy, and instead spent the rest of their days sunbathing on the planet of New Iredistin, sipping cans of Solaric emergency ration liquor stored in their Zipper and exchanging philosophy with the Iredistin. (Although for Barqua this mainly consisted of shouting at Excalibur and saying "Arse" a lot)
Commander Blak was not the only one for whom the state of blissful attachment was acheived, for soon after the end of the war Commander Greer and Lt. Loi the Krekovian announced an engagement.
And then the inevitable happened, and the Solarics got itchy feet, they have spent the past year making huge ringworlds on which they will house their people, and yesterday, departed realm for good, manifolding off to who knows where.
The EC remain, and trade some "Special goods" with Solaric trusted sources such as the Tau and FlareCorp, Pieron somehow convinced by Kamen to not take over the galaxy, and to this day he cannot quite work out how Kamen did convince him, as all he did was shout at him a lot.
And the Hospitaliers? Well they continue to see to the whims of the galaxy, minus a few of the more veteran crew such as Kamen, who have gone with the Solarics.
So here's to the one who is brave and smart, who stabs the demon to it's heart.
Here's to the one who is timid and meek, who knows the peace which others seek.
And here's to the one who plays the fool...
There the story ends is all.
Farewell to all my friends, It has been an honor to take part in this galaxy with you.
